Maine Summer Camps
Theres a good variety and a fairly large selection of camps to be found in Maine. There is an adventure based camp thats sure to keep kids exploring the great outdoors over the summer. Other camps which are fairly well respected cater to children of all ages. Those interested in Science may want to look into some week long courses provided to them, or they can check whale camps at the Fundy Marine Science Institute to learn more about marine life. The Acadia Institute of Oceanography provides camps that may also be of particular interest. There is also a huge selection of traditional residential camps located outdoors, and they have summer activities involved which include Water Skiing, Land Sports, Performing arts, and other creative ventures. Families also have options to all boy and all girl residential and traditional camps if they so choose to have that experience for their children.
