Camp S.W.A.G. Teen Talent Show
Camp S.W.A.G. (Students With Ambitions & Goals) is hosting a Teen Talent Show Fundraiser on January 29th, 2016 with a TENTATIVE location of Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. We will keep you up to date on the exact location. Ticket are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Are you a high school student who wants to audition for the talent show? Applications will be available on October 15, 2015 and auditions will be held on January 9th, 2016. Location to be determined. Kid's Fun Day at Camp Clay! - Van Wert, OH
Hey Kids! On Thursday, July 14 we're sponsoring a fun kid's day at Camp Clay. Admission is $2 and that includes admission to the aqua park and splash pad + FREE sunscreen station + FREE snacks + FREE bottled water. We'll also have a pool noodle obstacle course set up for you to try. If you complete it, you can get your name on the leader board and be eligible to win cool prizes!

Garden Sprouts (Grandparent and Me) (AM) - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
Children love being outside playing in the soil, and they love exploring how plants grow in a garden. Join us as we channel your childs natural curiosity as we learn about flowers and edibles from planting to plate. This camp will include a variety of projects plus tastings of a variety of plants and plant parts ranging from roots to flowers (these are all things you normally eat.). Date: Thursday, August 11th 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or Friday, August 12th 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Ages: 4 – 8 with an adult Instructors: Deb Frantz, Rich Frantz, Kuen Spichiger, Santino Lauricella, Beth Sanders NOTE: Choose ONE OF TWO sessions for this camp. SLAM SPORTS AND LEADERSHIP CAMP - Memphis University School
SLAM Sports and Leadership Camp offers students a chance to enjoy competitive play while participating in leadership training. This camp is for students who want an overall physical fitness and multisports camp experience. Each afternoon is divided into three periods, including fitness training and various sports and games. After being taught the rules and basic skills of each game, counselors and supervisors will move out of the spotlight to allow campers to choose and organize their own games. This process gives students a chance to take ownership of their own play and make the decisions necessary for a successful game. Camp instructors will supervise all activities, but campers will be required to resolve conflicts, referee their own games, and motivate one another to engage robustly in each activity. Memorial - BRIDGE Group - Endeavor Behavioral
The BRIDGE group is geared toward 4-6 year old children who are not ready for the structure and demands of a class setting, but needing peer and social interaction practice to prepare for school and peer environments. Intro to 3-D Game Design - Wow Science - Voorhees
Jump into 3-D game design using the visual programming tool Kodu to design and mold terrain, set camera angles, adjust lighting, populate objects, and program behaviors. Combine these skills to create an original platform for racing or storytelling within a 3-D world. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. FRIDAYS ARE FIELD TRIP DAYS AND ARE THEREFORE FULL DAYS. UNLESS THE CAMP DIRECTOR GIVES YOU AN EARLIER ARRIVAL TIME, PLAN TO DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AT 9:00 AM ON FRIDAYS. Explore Art! ~ Papier Mache - Session 3 - The Arts Center
Students will learn to create human, animal or monster sculptures with papier mache. They will start by creating an armature from wire and newspaper. They will learn the best types of glues and to keep the mess to a minimum and speed drying times. We will use colored and painted papers for the final layer. In the last session, details will be added with a wide range of craft materials. The will learn how to create impressive sculptures that can be adapted for a range of school projects.
