What Items Are Important to Bring to Summer Camp?
As always, the mission of the camp dictates what campers should bring. However, no matter the focus of the program, there are some universal essentials to bring. Packing is hard. Relentless Teen Camp 2016 - Mountain View, AR


Teen Community Emergency Response Team Camp - Peachtree City, GA
The Peachtree City Police Department will be hosting a Teen Community Emergency Response Team (TEEN CERT) camp beginning June 13th, 2016. The classes will be held Monday through Friday of that week ending on June 17th. The classes will start at 0800 and end at 1230 each day. The camp will be held in the training room at the Police Station. The TEEN CERT Program educates young adults about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Prospective candidates must be between 13 and 17 years of age at the time of registration and a resident of Georgia. Applicants will be required to complete an enrollment form and applicable waivers. The application and waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. A local check will be conducted to determine the background of the participants as a pre-condition to acceptance into the program. This camp is open to students aged 14-18 who are interested in learning the basic techniques of passerine bird banding, and in examining the scientific reasons for tracking birds of all kinds. Students should have a demonstrated interest in birds to apply; see the Braddock Bay Bird Observatory website for details. Strokes to Strategy - Green Valley Resort Tennis Courts
15 hours of tennis instruction in our 3-Day Tennis Camp. Research is what sets us apart from the rest. We will show you Super Slow motion of professional players and fundamentals at the highest level. Through Dartfish split screen analysis we will show you the efficiency of your stroke and how to improve in less time. This program features Dartfish video analysis of the forehands, backhands and serve. Other strokes covered throughout the 3 day program are volleys, return, approach shot, overhead and lob. With more time to practice and drill, the strokes-to-strategy emphasis allows the player to improve at a faster rate. The 3 day camp includes a free Private lesson CD ($75 value), and unlimited use of the tennis facility and ball machines. Deep Space Robot Explorers - Goleta Presbyterian Church
During this week, we take campers to the edge of the universe on a variety of missions to make a distant planet habitable for humans. Campers explore the real science behind NASAs plan for Martian colonies and accompanying engineering design activities tied into space exploration. Deep Space Robot Explorers curriculum, Terraformers, has been developed by Carnegie Mellon Universitys Robot Academy. Using MINDSTORMS NXT and Terraformers software, along with videos and animations, campers learn programming, tackle building challenges, and hone their robotic and project planning skills. As an extra bonus, campers construct and launch two of their very own Estes Rockets. Camp Sneak Preview - Childrens Theatre (CHT)
The Bay Areas finest musical theatre professionals teach kids how to sing, act and dance! This adventurous program explores theatre through collective creation, story development and improvisation. Students also learn about various aspects of technical theatre, such as set construction, painting, costumes and make-up. Guided by their teachers, students share their creativity with parents and friends on the final day of camp. Performance on final day at 3:00 pm. Participants need to bring a bag lunch daily.
