Save the date - We will be staying at the retreat lodge (and log cabin if needed) for our fall retreat. Fellowship with other youth in the district, interesting sessions, and an opportunity to help the camp out by raking leaves at the district wide leaf raking service project (Saturday starting at 8 am). Cost $40 - no charge for Advisor. Please contact Ralph Miner if cost is an issue.

Kids age 3 through 6th grade are invited to join us for a camping themed kid's night. We will sing campfire songs, eat s'mores, play games, and hear a camping inspired Bible story. There will be an adult service available for parents and a youth class.

The Orthodox Church in America, on behalf of all Eastern Orthodox Youth Ministry/Camping Departments in America, is delighted to host this Annual Conference in 2016 at St. Seraphim's Cathedral in Dallas, TX. Clergy, campus ministers, youth workers, camp leaders, and volunteers gather every January for fellowship, worship, and continuing education. Camp Casa Jr. (Age 4-5) Morning Session - Casa Mañana Rehearsal Studio
Camp Casa Jr. -Join us for this one-week camp, 9am-12pm, June 13-17th, for 4-7 year-olds! -Learn music, dance and drama and theatre crafts in a fun, no-pressure, creative environment, with classes taught be seasoned theatre and education professionals! -Your child will learn creative expression using their voice, body and imagination! -The theme for the week will be Neverland! -Please choose only ONE session (morning or afternoon) 817-321-5040
Level 1 - James Mastraeini - The Loft - iO West
In this class you are introduced to all the fundamental skills of improvising, while improving your ability to listen and explore the power of building off of other peoples ideas. Level 1 is a survey of the entire program, exposing you to the elements of scene work and the various skills involved in creating well-acted, comedic improvisation. Passing Criteria: Students must demonstrate that their listening has improved over the course of the term and that they are willing to build off of their partners ideas, in addition to having gained some proficiency with the technical aspects of actually doing so on stage. Radical Reptiles & Animals with John Taibe (AGES 5-10) Join John Taibe from Radical Reptiles and Friends as he introduces the children to a unique menagerie of live animals including snakes, frogs, turtles, tortoises, lizards, bugs and other creepy crawlies. As the children explore the animal kingdom, they will have a unique, hands-on experience enhanced by art, games and various projects related to these creatures. Kids will be up and about moving too! The kiddos get John for 2 special hours. Children whove attended this camp in the past should experience new adventures & get to see Johns latest creatures. Children will have a snack time, 2 recesses on the fabulous playground and a lunchtime. Aqua Sports Camp Jr - Olney Swim Center
This camp has it all-swimming, diving, trampoline, soccer, kickball, crafts and games! Campers should be able to swim 25 yards and must be comfortable in the water that exceeds their height. Campers must come equipped with shorts, T-shirt and tennis shoes or athletic-type shoes. Campers should bring a non-perishable lunch, extra pair of athletic socks, swim suit, towel, cap, goggles and sunscreen. A $15 material fee is due at the beginning of each session, payable to Tober Aqua Sports, Inc. Extended Care is provided by the camp for morning and/or afternoon for participants only.
