What is the Summer Camp Cost?
A week of summer camp can cost anywhere from $400-$600 or as much as $1,000 or more. The price tag of programs is higher or lower depending on the camp’s focus, the activities and if the organization offers financial aid. Some camps cost more per week because they offer specialized activities like sailing and horseback riding. The higher cost covers the care of the equipment and skilled instructors.

21st Annual Sikh Youth Gurmat Camp - Derwood, MD
GHISS would like to remind you of the upcoming 21st Annual Sikh Youth Gurmat Camp in Maryland from July 30 - August 6, 2016. Register online at the website: www.ghiss.org. Kids of ages 6-19 are welcome. We have had an overwhelming response and only limited seats are left. Register now to save yourself a spot! First-come-first-served! POST PIG OUT CHRISTMAS BOOT CAMP!!!!!!!!!!! - Saint Petersburg, FL
We will meet by the tennis courts for a KICK BUTT boot camp style workout. Each station will bring a special challenge(modifications will be explained) Kids can take class too!!!! NO CHRISTMAS $........... ONLY $5 per person no need to bring anything but water and a yoga mat if you have RSVP PLEASE
Teen/Adult Leadership Camp - Grantham, NH
This fun filled camp is intense and filled with training that is unique to this event. Learn knife and star throwing, Krav Maga, Combat Weapons, Team Sparring, ATA Xtreme, Team Building Drills and a lot more. We finish the training on Saturday night with a huge bonfire and smores! It is guaranteed to be one of the best events of the year and is open to ages 12 and above. Cost: $249 for 1st familymember, $199 for 2nd + (cost covers food and lodging)
Winter in the Wild: Furs & Feathers (Youth Groups Only) - Hull, IL
Exclusive for Non-Profit Youth Groups! Registration limited to first 30 youth Become a GC wildlife detective while on school vacation! Come to Gardner Camp for hands-on learning about wildlife and animals of all kinds. Nationally renowned World Bird Sanctuary will be at GC to present a live animal program where you will experience an up-close view of animals from all kingdoms. After learning about the different types of animals and the signs that animals leave behind, participants will test their investigation skills solving a mystery and go on a tracking adventure, weather permitting. Participants will also walk away with their very own handmade wildlife tracks t-shirt. Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help World Bird Sanctuary. If desired, groups can bring an item from the WBS wish list as a service project. Pre-registration required. Contact [email protected] or 217/432-1999 to register.

Debate Camp 2.0 - Recreation and Cultural Center
Debate Camp 2.0 (Grades 6 - 9) Debate Camp 2.0 is limited to participants who have already completed a week of Debate Camp in the summer of 2015, or who are registered for a week of Debate Camp for summer 2016 (If plan on registering for both programs at the same time you must register in person). It will be a faster moving and more advanced program designed to sharpen debate and mock trial skills at a more competitive level. Less time will be spent on the acquisition of skill through mini-lessons and modeling and more time will be spent engaged in competitive debates, mock trials, and political campaigns. Since less time will be devoted to the direct teaching of the fundamental debate and persuasive communication techniques, campers will be engaged in more debates and mock trials throughout the week. Campers will also be working in campaign teams to draw from the ideas of existing presidential candidates to design their own original political platform and run in a Mock-Campaign/Election for President of the United States! The camp is intended to teach players the fundamentals of volleyball from A to Z. Players will be grouped according to their age and ability. They will receive both individual and team instruction. The USM staff is geared up to give the beginning player the skills necessary to compete, while challenging event he most advanced youngster. This camp will emphasize skill development and both individual and team concepts. Each player will receive special attention according to their individual needs. Our goal is to develop skills, team play and overall ability so that each player becomes more knowledgeable and better able to apply these concepts to game situations.
