Different camps have different types of accommodations. Some groups have kids sleeping in well-ventilated cabins whereas others have air-conditioned dorm rooms. Bathrooms could be in cabin or in a nearby wash house. There are also programs that have youth sleeping in tents outside. An organization’s mission often dictates the sleeping arrangements. Teen camp is an action packed week with late night recreation, crazy games and relays, horses, archery, tournaments, relaxing in the pool or playing a game of pool in the air conditioned recreation room while making new friends or hanging out with old ones. Last year this week almost sold out, so register early! Teen Camp is open to students entering grades 7 thru 2016 Graduates. There will be a separate program for Jr. High and High School. The $50 non-refundable deposit is due by July 1, 2016 to secure a place for your child. Also, to receive a $10 discount please mail in the remaining balance due or the complete amount due by July 1st, 2016. Graham Regional Theatre is excited to hold their first ever summer camp for aspiring actors! Classes and rehearsals will be at The Perry (521 Elm Street) where we will work on singing, dancing, and staging for our musical, Seussical, Jr.! All roles will be played by campers ages 18 and under. Included in the cost of camp is: Theatre, vocal, and movement instruction by theatre professionals and GRT veteran performers. Mariners is designed to give the sailor a strong fundamental base of sailing skills such as rigging, tacking, gybing, sail trim, hiking, and some advanced boat handling. The overall goal is to make the sailor comfortable on the water in varying conditions, while eventually becoming proficient sailing alone in the Opti. Inside the Mariners class, we typically divide into three color groups: Forest Green (Novice), Lime Green (Intermediate Mariner), and Army Green(Advanced Mariner).
