Different camps have different types of accommodations. Some groups have kids sleeping in well-ventilated cabins whereas others have air-conditioned dorm rooms. Bathrooms could be in cabin or in a nearby wash house. There are also programs that have youth sleeping in tents outside. An organization’s mission often dictates the sleeping arrangements. All students must participate in the activities of the camp and there will be limited use of the recreational facilities. Bring a sack lunch.

Teen Community Emergency Response Team Camp - Peachtree City, GA
The Peachtree City Police Department will be hosting a Teen Community Emergency Response Team (TEEN CERT) camp beginning June 13th, 2016. The classes will be held Monday through Friday of that week ending on June 17th. The classes will start at 0800 and end at 1230 each day. The camp will be held in the training room at the Police Station. The TEEN CERT Program educates young adults about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Prospective candidates must be between 13 and 17 years of age at the time of registration and a resident of Georgia. Applicants will be required to complete an enrollment form and applicable waivers. The application and waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. A local check will be conducted to determine the background of the participants as a pre-condition to acceptance into the program. Chicago Youth Centers’ Camp Rosenthal is excited to announce its first annual Women's Wellness Retreat April 29th - May 1st 2016. As 21st century women we are constantly juggling the responsibilities of family, work and school. We all deserve some time out for ourselves. Why not take some time to re-connect with yourself and enjoy the fellowship of womanhood at our beautiful camp in Southwestern Michigan. Our women’s only weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to relax in a beautiful and inviting environment, reconnect with your inner self through art, meditation and reflection and allow plenty of time to appreciate sisterhood and enjoy pampering yourself.
