At Keystone Science School, STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) is an integral part of every experience. The Girls in STEM program dives even deeper by exploring not only the STEM concepts in an empowering girls-only environment, but also highlighting real women currently working in STEM careers. This program builds leadership and collaboration between the girls involved as they engage in fun, hands-on activities that impart new skills and confidence in science, tech, engineering, and math - areas in which girls are inclined to be wallflowers. A key element of the program is a teaching technique called positive growth feedback in which "failure" is viewed as a necessary and even welcome step on the path to success. Research has shown that girls are especially receptive to this teaching technique and the scientific method is the ideal process for applying this technique to valuable learning. Girls in STEM will: Motivate and encourage participation and leadership in young females in STEM related fields. Incorporate the engineering and scientific process into interactive, engaging activities, while promoting positive growth feedback. Each $25 haircut donation sends one child to camp. Come out for an amazing new style! Please RSVP to be added to the Cut-a-thon roster. Our team of stylists will be taking clients on a first come first serve basis. Friends! I would like to share with you a HUGE announcement and partnership with Cold Creek Camp! This summer is the inaugural series of Summer Camps to serve the homeless youth of Clark County and North County! We plan to serve over 250 youth. We have invited Second Step Housing, Aspire and EVERY shelter in the area. This will be a FREE CAMP for them! WE CAN NOT DO THIS ALONE! We need as much help as we can get with fundraising! The vision is that every child leaves Camp inspired to DREAM BIG despite of their present circumstances. We want every child to also be able to leave with a NEW back pack full of supplies, and at least $100 gift card to be able to buy a new school out fit and a new pair of shoes too! Golf Elite - Brigham Young University
Come experience BYUs 2016 Golf Elite Camp! Join BYU mens golf head coach Bruce Brockbank for five days of exceptional golf among the majestic Wasatch Mountains. You will receive instruction in iron play, woods, putting, short game, sand shots, mental attitude, tournament play and conditioning. Your training will include the same fundamentals and techniques as those taught to the great golfers who have played at BYU, including Johnny Miller, Bobby Clampett, Keith Clearwater, Mike Reid, Rick Fehr, Pat McGowan, and current PGA Tour members Mike Weir and Daniel Summerhays. For added practice on the golf course, you will experience 36 holes of championship golf, including a highly competitive closing tournament. Share the excitement at BYU Golf Elite Camp! Mid-High Camp Commuter - Univ. of Oklahoma Campus
The Mid-High Camp is a 2-day camp that will feature intense drills and practices for campers entering 7th-9th Grade in Fall 2016. Camp instruction will be provided by the OU Football Coaching Staff along with select current Sooner players. This camp will help improve your campers skills while they experience the Sooner Championship tradition alongside our elite coaches and athletes! PLEASE NOTE: Meals and lodging are not provided for Commuter Campers. Campers must be picked up and dropped off by an authorized adult for EACH practice session.
