PM Session for Discovery Students Only - Roycemore School

Weeks of Discovery Grades (PreK-5th) - Ethical Culture
WEEKS OF DISCOVERY is an exciting vacation break program filled with age-appropriate activities for children in Grades PreK – 5th. The program takes full advantage of a gymnasium and rooftop playground as well as the closeness of Central Park. Throughout the week, children investigate themes incorporated into art, science, and nature activities and share their discoveries with each other. These themes are expanded in other activities, including sports, games, music, movement, storytelling, drama, and cooking. Under the supervision of experienced counselors, children also go on special outings and adventures. Although each child is part of a smaller peer group of similar ages, every child is also a member of the larger group. This gives each child a different and special kind of social and learning experience. Children have fun, exciting days, but there is always time for relaxation, reflection, and individual pursuits. Hands On! American Sign Language - S1 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
This fun afternoon mini-camp will introduce students to basic ASL through interactive art projects games, and songs. Campers will learn the alphabet, songs, greetings, names, numbers, animals with instructor and CMU education major Madeline Klozik. We will do a short Performance the last day of camp. 734-416-4278

Get Ready for Algebra! MODULE 1 - Orchard Hills School
Bungee jumping, stacking cups, racing toy cars, and basketball shots are a few of the many hands-on activities students will engage in as they explore algebraic functions and mathematical modeling. Students will gain understanding of core algebraic concepts in order to be successful and to lay a core foundation for success in Algebra. 714-832-6299

Shakespeare Unplugged Workshop - Carolina Day School
This workshop explores Shakespeare in an intimate and accessible way through passion, imagination, and language. You will gain a deeper understanding of the plays, the motives behind them and the characters.
