Mountain Bike Camp - Fort Tuthill County Park
Develop the skills and attitude to become a lifetime mountain biker including riding skills and strategies, safety, trail etiquette, stewardship, environmental awareness, and bike maintenance. Staging at Fort Tuthill County Park, Exit 337 off I-17, unless told otherwise. Participants may meet at another location as trips demand. Trails will range from moderate to difficult. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Helmets are required ! Participants should have their own bike in good working condition. Bikes are available to borrow/rent. Our staff is made of several high school and college baseball and softball players who are great at teaching their sport and who make Diamond Sports Week extremely fun. Kids are natural physicists. They are seeing things for the first time and asking questions to make sense of it all. Are there other colors that arent in the rainbow? Why is the first hill on a roller coaster the tallest one? How does the International Space Station actually stay up in space? In this camp we will have fun both asking and answering questions.
