Confirmation Camp Week 4 - Camp Tomah Shinga
This is a dynamic, weeklong camp made possible by a partnership between pastors, youth workers and the Tomah Shinga Staff. Campers spend their mornings participating in faith-building talks and team building activities. Afternoons are spent enjoying all traditional camp activities that Trail Blazers enjoy, and evenings are filled with special worship opportunities only offered to confirmation campers. Girls Basketball - Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP main gym About: NDP girls basketball camp teaches young players the fundamentals of the game. Those new to the sport will learn the skills of ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense, while more experienced players will be challenged to further develop their competency in those areas. While great focus is paid to individual skill work, ample time is devoted to a variety of competitions. Running the camp is NDP coach Kathleen Offer, who played collegiately at Yale and has coached in the Fighting Irish program for eight years. The entire staff, which includes current NDP girls basketball players and coaches, is dedicated to challenging the campers to the best of their ability while they have lots of fun with old and new friends. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels. Summer Sing 2.0 - Valley Springs Presbyterian Church
July 13 – 17 Summer Sing 2.0 For boys and girls entering grades 5 – 8 An all-day experience, 8:30am – 4:30pm that is filled with music, singing, and electives. Improve your singing voice with group lessons and one on one coaching from the Artistic Director. Electives like guitar, recorder, musical crafts, choreography, and drama will be offered as well as our Afternoon Specials. Theme for the week, Musicals with Class. Our final concert will be that Friday evening showcasing music from Musicals and the Classics. Enrollment opens March 5.
