Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: Circus Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: Circus Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Show: Pippin Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, he finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day. Performance: Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. This camp is designed for campers who are: Ages 13 to 18 who are at a moderate level of experience. This camp is offered at Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Old Davie School only.
