Camp Foley

Foley is committed to being a positive, fun, youth-centered summer camp that has a caring, family atmosphere. Campers thrive on new friendships and experiences. With quality instruction in over 30 activities, such as Sailing, Waterskiing/Wakeboarding, Paintball, Riflery and Climbing, our campers can take healthy, safe risks, which help develop physical and emotional skills. Foley strives to partner with parents to help our campers become productive, responsible, respectful young people. Foley is an ACA Accredited Camp. Foley is located in North Central Minnesota, about three hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul near Brainerd. Foley is surrounded by 211 acres of Birch, Pine and Oak Trees on 1000 feet of shoreline on 4000 acre Whitefish Lake. Campers are immersed daily in this beautiful, natural environment. Our facilities are well-maintained. We have two docks at our waterfront. The Swimdock is used for Swimming, Diving and Snorkeling where a lifeguard is always on duty. A separate dock, the Marina, is where all of our boating takes place such as Sailing, Windsurfing and Canoeing. Our 211 acres of main camp includes a Soccer Field, two Tennis Courts, a 38-foot Climbing Tower, a Basketball Court, a Roofed Sport Court, an Archery and Rifle Range, two Paintball Courses and separate buildings for Fitness, Crafts, Nature, Music and Woodworking. The campers live in cabins – the boys on one side of camp and the girls on the other. Our large Dining Hall was constructed in 2000 and comfortably seats all of our campers and staff. A nurse lives onsite 24/7 in our Health Center and is always available. Since Camp Foley is located three hours north of the Twin Cities area, we ask that parents make plans to fly or drive campers into and out of the Twin Cities, so they can be bused to camp. Parents can also drop off and pick up campers by car or boat on arrival and departure day.
