Parents should always take the time to consider a camp’s facilities and features when selecting a program for their children. It is important to keep in mind advanced facilities as well as safety. The location of the camp is important. Some programs have pools whereas others have lakes. It is important to explore what makes each organization and its program different. Kid's Summer Yoga Camp - Canby, OR
Balance and Harmony is happy to announce our first summer yoga camp for children ages 3-5. This camp will introduce your child to basic yoga poses and breathing exercises through story, songs and games. Each class will also include a creative activity that reinforces our yoga practice. Children will bring a packed snack and we will enjoy time outside at Wait Park. Taught by Sherry Wolfson. Sherry holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certificate. She began teaching preschool and special education over 30 years ago and has taught yoga to preschoolers at Childswork Learning Center in Portalnd for the past 3 years. Classes will be held for 5 weeks (July 1st - 29th) on Wednesdays from 1:00-4:00. Fee-$150 for all 5 days. After your childs afternoon camp they will be escorted to aftercare by Villa Ventures Staff. Here the staff will provide safe, stimulating, and enjoyable experiences. All activities support Villa Academys mission of fostering self-esteem, an inquiring mind, a joy for learning, and a compassionate and ethical spirit. There will be a balance between individual and group activities, quiet time, and recreational time. If you are running late please call 206-234-8885 so we can let your child know. You will be charged a $3/minute late fee after 5:05pm. These late fees will NEED to be paid upon pickup of your child by check or credit card on the day you are late or your child will NOT be able to attend aftercare until this balance is paid. 206-524-7009

Rookie Camp is a four-day, three-night mini-session designed for first time campers as an introduction to the camp and preparation for a full length Camp Jack Hazard session. Campers will try all of the activities available to Resident Campers, including: games, campfires, camp programs and an on-site overnight where theyll have the opportunity to sleep under the stars without leaving CJH grounds. Your camper will create their own happily ever after! Afternoon Only (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm) Magical Muggles– Still waiting for your Hogwarts letter? So are we! This camp will be for us muggles ready to learn some magic! We will make our own wands, play quidditch, craft potions and get sorted into Houses. Let the magic begin! Learn the fundamentals of computer music production through a series of hands-on projects and challenges designed to promote creativity, problem solving and technical abilities. Campers will learn about MIDI, digital audio, microphones, looping, mixing, effects, DIY musical instruments and more!
