This 18 week class explores the elements of musical techniques within African drumming including understanding poly-rhythms, composition, melody, harmony, tones, pitches, bases, improvisations and arrangements. Campers will learn about Shakespeare, acting, and stage combat as they prepare to perform a 30-minute version of one of Shakespeare’s plays! Wordplay, swordplay, and insult swapping abound – and they get to do it in costume! SETSCO will provide everything except underwear, shoes, and lunch. Tuition is $235. Ages 9-17.

Boy Scouts Troop 114 is raising funds for Summer Camp! Please stop by and grab a delicious dinner anytime between 5-8pm on Thursday, April 7th. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat OR you can participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! Please share this event out with everyone you know who lives in the area; everyone is welcome and invited to join! Thank you all for supporting our boys. It takes a lot to get these kids to Colorado and we truly could not do this without your help!!!

Build-A-Bear - Old Trail School
Campers will visit the local Build-A-Bear store on Monday to create their own teddy bears. The rest of the week will be spent creating accessories and other items that go along with their individual bears. Campers will spend quality time with popular Old Trail teachers and friends incorporating stories and drama, arts and crafts, songs and games, social studies and research, science and exploration, Math, and Language arts into all their explorations. Emphasis on teamwork, celebration of individual growth and creativity will make this camp exciting and memorable. Campers should wear comfortable play clothes and be ready to go, go, go! We offer seven, 5 day sessions for campers who are 8 to 12 years old. Campers who are 13 to 17 years old may attend as Counselors in Training or Junior Counselors. Each week offers an imagination based theme. Evening activites will be based on the theme of the week. Daytime activities include organized games, pool activities, creek stomps and arts and crafts.
