MinecraftEdu: Medieval Themed Adventure - Main Campus
MinecraftEDU is an expansive game that lets players design and create unique worlds with amazing structures. One of the more complicated aspects of MinecraftEDU is Redstone, which is MinecraftEDUs version of electrical circuitry. This class will introduce students to the many uses of Redstone through a Medieval themed adventure of creation, exploration, and castle besieging, with students making mine cart tracks to help them gather resources, working together to build their kingdom, and designing traps to defend their castle, all with the use of Redstone. 6159487005.0

Boys Basketball - Sanford Day Camp
Stan Waterman will be the head coach for our Basketball program. Stan is the head basketball coach at Sanford since 1991. Under Stans direction, Sanford won multiple State Championships. Stan played point guard at the University of Delaware and is the Dean of Students at Sanford. He is considered to be an outstanding teacher of youth. Stan utilizes both courts of the Sports Center to set up stations for dribbling, passing, jump shooting and foul shooting. The afternoons are used for small team play. 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. By the end of the week, all players are participating in full team scrimmages. Players can expect a good workout every day. -------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. --------------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. Intermediate Algebra I - Francis W Parker
LUNCH: Students must bring their own bag lunches and drinks each day. No class July 4. This course is for students wishing to enrich their math skills before entering 9th grade. Students focus on the standard topics of first-year algebra, emphasizing the fundamental ideas of the subject. Topics may include solving and graphing linear equations and functions, quadratic equations and functions, solving and graphing inequalities, systems of equations, factoring expressions, absolute value and exponential and radical expressions and equations. Up-Cycled Art - Bridget Mayak & Cheryl Capezzuti - Touchstone Center for Crafts
Explore innovative ways to incorporate common household materials, found objects, and recyclables into fantastic art! We will focus on the processes as well as the products of creating both two- and three-dimensional pieces of art. Part of everyday will be spent making puppets out of recycled materials and producing a short performance at the end of the week. This promises to be a very busy and creative week!
