Where Will My Child Sleep at Summer Camp?
Different camps have different types of accommodations. Some groups have kids sleeping in well-ventilated cabins whereas others have air-conditioned dorm rooms. Bathrooms could be in cabin or in a nearby wash house. There are also programs that have youth sleeping in tents outside. An organization’s mission often dictates the sleeping arrangements. For example, a 4-H or Girl Scout group may want campers to be outdoors to learn important survival skills whereas an academic camp may want youth inside so they can focus on their work.

Summer Camp Music Festival - Chillicothe, IL
We are happy to announce we will be teaming up with Summer Camp Music Festival to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive in Chillicothe, Illinois from May 22-24, 2015. All food donations will benefit the East Peoria Area Food Bank in Peoria, Illinois. One of our very talented artist is creating a Summer Camp event poster, which will be FREE to patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items or a suggested monetary donation. Food donations will be collected at the Conscious Alliance ‘Art That Feeds’ Gallery, which will be depicted on the Summer Camp Festival guide and map. Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster. Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!
Teen Art Camp - Summit, NJ
Ages 13-15 The Teen Art Camp is geared towards the mature aspiring artist with a desire to explore a variety of art media and techniques. Led by instructors specializing in teens, students will be inspired and guided through an appealing array of creative projects including landscape painting, portraiture, wheel thrown pottery, digital imaging using Photoshop®, mixed media collages and more. Projects vary on a weekly basis so teen artists can explore a variety of media.

Kid's Day Camp (K-2nd Grade) - Conway, AR
Kid's Day Camp, afternoon session, for Kindergarten-2nd Graders. Register online at https://kideventpro.lifeway.com/myChurch/?id=30834 by June 6th. Campers will use the "participant registration" and chaperones will use the "volunteer registration." Cost is $12.50 for church members or $25 for non-members. Life Teen December Retreat
Great News!!! Life Teen will have our annual December Retreat on Dec 18-20. This is an overnight off campus retreat at the Warren Willis Methodist Camp in Fruitland Park Florida. Myself, the Core, College Core, and Priest will be gearing up for a fantastic, funifilled, Jesus weekend Life Teen style!!! So parents encourage your teens to come to this life changing weekend. An overnight Permission slip is required and the cost is $90. This covers transportation, food, lodging, and camp facilities!! As a challenge to our teens if we get 200 teens on retreat Fr. Brian will shave his beard and I will shave my head. So pass this onto any parent or teen you know. Please pray for this weekend. Storytelling Through Cartooning - CREATE Arts Center
Learn how to tell great stories and sharpen your visual storytelling skills! Develop fun characters and exciting storylines as you CREATE character sketches for your own comic strip or book. Young Physician - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Make NO bones about it; this camp is for the aspiring "Young Physician". If your child enjoys checking out the cool gadgets and models in the Pediatricians office, sign them up! Campers learn that their bodies are miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, many thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, AND a fancy computer! They perform hands-on experiments as they learn about brains, taste buds, blood, muscles and bones, check heart rates and listen to their lungs with their very own stethoscope. Campers will extract DNA and learn about genetics, test for germs, build spinal column, ear drum and lung models. Shipwreck Island (52456P) - Cary Academy
Uh-oh – you are shipwrecked on a desert island! Work together with your fellow campers to devise a means for collecting food and water, build shelters and bridges, and apply the science behind survival. Use the tools at hand to write a message to send in a bottle. Be careful - you may witness a volcanic eruption! Work together to design a means to escape the island and come home. Campers will use technology to develop replicable experiments, enhancing STEM outreach in an experience unique to Cary Academy. 919-677-7839
Half Day Week 8: Creative Chemist - Golden Gate Park
Half Day Camp is open to children who are entering PreK (must be 4 years old) or Kindergarten in the 2015-2016 school year. Creative Chemist This is a week all about chemistry! In addition to our usual nature treks, each day we will also conduct a hands-on, kid-friendly chemistry experiment. Launch a mini-rocket using baking soda and vinegar, create ooey gooey slime, learn fire safety with endothermic and exothermic reactions, and much more! 415-876-3764
Mt. Hood Session 2 - 14 & Older - Mt. Hood Academy House
Your daughter must be a 14 & older ski racer to participate in this camp. Session 2 at Keelys Ski Camp is seven days, three days on snow, one day off and then 3 days on. Summer is an opportune time to develop and improve technique, for this reason we emphasize drills each day of skiing. The first day focuses on free skiing and drills. Day 2 & 3 are more drills and gate training. Day 4 is OFF and we offer fun activities either in Hood River, rafting the Deschutes River, or a trip to Portland. Day 5,6 & 7 include more gate training, free skiing and drills. Day 7 is also the travel day. At Keelys Ski Camp many of the all female coaching staff are recently retired from the U. S. Ski Team or are still racing at the highest levels (Olympic, World Cup, Noram, NCAA and FIS). Each day on the hill the coaches offer world-class visuals by training with and coaching the girls. 406-581-4991
