LATEST CAMPS NEWS: ET-FP-U13-U18 Boys and Girls - Meredith College Turf Field
Player Evaluation Events are held to determine readiness/acceptance into the Elite Technique program. Elite Technique is a 40-week training program divided into four, 10-week Cycles (two, 10-week Fall programs and two, 10-week Spring programs). Fall sessions run from early August through mid-December; Spring sessions run from early January through mid-June. One training session per week for 1¼ hours per session. Cost = $185 for each 10-week Cycle (paid before the start of each 10-week cycle); players will also be required to purchase one Elite Technique training jersey for the program (~$25). You must register for the entire 40-week series – registration for individual Cycles is not an option. Players may withdraw from the program at the end of a Cycle and future Cycles will not be charged. Two levels of the RailHawks Elite Technique field-player program: Elite Technique PLATINUM: Comprised of high-level Classic players. New players must register/attend a Player Evaluation Event to determine readiness/acceptance into the ET-Platinum or ET-Gold program. Elite Technique GOLD: Elite-level supplemental training for committed players of all skill levels. 4-H Teen Voices Retreat - New Windsor, IL
Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join Rock Island County 4-H for an interactive leadership retreat on Saturday, August 29 at Camp Summit in New Windsor. Teens will get to participate in team-building exercises, go zip-lining and other outdoor activities as well as give their input into ideas they would like to see for youth programs in the local community. Teens will learn ways they can use their interests and skills to develop their leadership, citizenship, presentation and organization skills by becoming in involved in the various 4-H Teen programs offered in Rock Island County.

Kid's Snowman Art Camp - Circleville, OH
Our Kids's art camp is back...and during Christmas Break! We provide all the supplies, your child's inspiration and step-by-step instruction of the featured art. At the end of the event, kids will go home with their very own snowman masterpiece. This class woudl make a great kids for any children on your list. Appropriate ages are 6-12. Session 1H - Voyagers - Camp Butano Creek
This is a two-session program: spend the first session experiencing intensive training activities with your peers. This session includes: discovering your leadership potential; enhancing your skills in group dynamics and communication; understanding the delivery of camp programs and operations; and traditional camp activities including a special outing. Voyagers go home on July 16th to rest up and return on either July 21st (2nd session) or August 4th (3rd session) as an Apprentice Counselor, joining our camp staff during pre-camp for final camp training and preparations. In your assigned unit, put your new knowledge and skills to work as an Apprentice Counselor. Voyager registration is not complete until the following has been completed and returned: camper registration; Voyager application and questionnaire; and three references. Final placement is subject to evaluation by Voyager staff. Spaces are LIMITED, sign up early! Preference will be given to Voyagers entering 12th grade. If there are openings after March 1, those entering 11th grade will be considered. Arts Camp #2 - Camelback Bible Church
We believe our Creator wants us to be joyfully creative! The primary goals of this camp are to encourage, nurture, and nourish each childs creative spirit. Daily Activities: In the mornings of each camp day, students will receive training in music and art. In each daily session they will learn something new that will build from the previous day. While in music class, students can explore keyboard, guitar, dance, and voice. Students will learn new concepts in music theory, use rhythm instruments, and participate in creative composition to begin the process of making music. In art class, students will experience textures, work with lighting and shading, and learn level of color. Arts students develop their fine motor skills. Each artist will create renderings that they will take home for years of enjoyment. Dance class is designed to introduce your child to the beginning movements of ballet, jazz and hip hop to inspire their interest in the creative beauty of dance. Students should be sure to wear comfortable clothing that doesnt restrict movement. Students will take a break between the morning and afternoon sessions and should bring their own sack lunch.
