First Stage Theatre Academy - Omaha Community Playhouse
First Stage Theatre Academy is a two-week intensive that immerses students in the art of Theatre. Since 1997, over 900 students have participated in the First Stage Academy. For two weeks during the summer, students work intensively with professional directors, musicians, and choreographers. Mornings begin with a daily group warm-up, followed by classes in voice, movement and dance, acting, improvisation, scene study and playwriting. Afternoons are spent rehearsing and building the original play which is performed for family and friends at the end of the Academy our Hawks Main stage. 402-553-4890 x131

Challenger I Tennis Camp Ses. III - Ensworth High School
Boys & Girls, max. 12 This camp is designed for players age 14 and under who are match ready. These classes will focus on improving players game, specifically focusing on skills such as footwork, strategy, spins, feel and match play. Players will be divided up by skill level and previous experience. Athletes may come to more than one session. Youth Advanced Academy Female - University of Tulsa
This is an intensive customized program for competitive girls 13 and younger. Instruction will focus on performing techniques with less time and space, and making tactical decisions at a higher speed. Each day, players receive top flight instruction from the nationally ranked and recognized University of Tulsa Mens and Womens Coaches as well as other top Collegiate, Club and High School coaches and players. Registration will be Sunday from 1-3 and pick up will be Thursday at 11:30 am. Fencing Camp: Foil, Sabre And Epee - McLean Community Center
No previous training needed. Often called ?the physical game of chess? and ?the noble sport?, fencing requires mental strength and quickness, and improves coordination, balance, speed and grace. Campers use the Foil (a light training sword) and are introduced to Sabre (the modern equivalent of the cavalry sword) and Epee (the modern equivalent of the dueling sword). Safety tipped swords, protective jackets, masks, and gloves make fencing one of the safest sports. These skills include Shooting, Dribbling, Passing, Rebounding, and Defense. We will also teach proper teamwork and sportsmanship which is vital to becoming a strong basketball player.
