SUMMER LANGUAGE CAMP: Ages: Girls and Boys Entering Grades 3 - 6 Dates: June 27-July 1 and August 1-5 Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm Format: Two, one week sessions Location: Laurels Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights Tuition: $400/session This camp is designed to introduce students to modern languages while they experience summer fun including cooking, sports, arts, sightseeing and field trips throughout the city – in the target language. Your child will be immersed in language, culture and pure fun in this camp led by Laurel World Languages faculty and counselors who are fluent in the language. Languages are offered in an immersion setting to give campers the foundation they need to enter a language class at their grade level. While cooking tapas, crepes or egg rolls, our students spontaneously use their target language to request flavors, colors, and what they like and dont like. Jun 2016 Junior Golf Camp - Eastlake Country Club
Our five day camps are extremely popular and can be summed up in one word: FUN!! They are geared toward introducing children to golf so they can experience how much fun the game is. All aspects of the game are covered including rules and etiquette. Golf cubs are provided for children who do not have a set of clubs. Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to noon and include: instruction, golf shirt, snacks, and a pizza party on the last day! Ages 6-12. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $3.95 non-refundable fee for registering online. Traveling Teen Camp (Jun 20-23, Grades 6-9) - Medinah Park District
Are you looking for something different to do this summer? Take a new adventure every Monday-Thursday and enjoy many Chicagoland hot spots! Past trips have included a Wrigley Field tour, downtown Chicago, museums, water parks, laser tag, Gameworks, IMAX, bowling, zoo, athletic events and more. Transportation and all admission fees to destinations included. One day a week will be spent at the park district participating in fun games, activities and guest speakers. Refunds will not be given once camp has started due to numerous field trip deposits that have to be made.
