LATEST CAMPS NEWS: The Mind Thats Mine - 5th-6th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Timko How does your brain learn best? Through the course of a week students will explore this question using the latest brain research. Students will discover how learning impacts their own attention, language, memory, higher order cognition and social cognition. Simulations, hands on activities, group discussions, brain scans, and video clips will be the focus of instruction. Youth Camp Easter Breakfast Fundraiser - Bel Air, MD
Remix Youth would like to invite you, your family, and your friends Easter morning to our Youth Camp Breakfast Fundraiser! Our menu includes: pancakes, sausage gravy, biscuits, fruit, donuts, muffins, coffee, and juice. Youth Camp can be a life changing week for our teenagers! However, it can be a financial burden for some. The cost for camp this year is $275 per student. The cost includes travel, housing, meals, and secondary health insurance. We want to remove as many obstacles as possible that would prevent a student from attending camp. All donations received at our Easter breakfast will go toward students in need of financial assistance. Thank you for your investment into the lives of our Remix teens! Junior Winds Camp 7/25-7/29 - New Jersey Youth Symphony
This camp will focus on fundamentals and strengthening the skills of young wind and brass players as well as performance. Students will work on two instruments their "major" instrument that they have been playing, and a "minor" wind or brass instrument of their choosing. Secondary instruments will be provided. The day will start with sectionals and technical fundamentals, after a snack and time playing musical Jeopardy and other games, campers will wrap up playing in the full ensemble. Six months playing experience required. Some 4th graders may be eligible to enroll with director approval. This camp takes place at 570 Central Avenue in New Providence. Pre-register for a 2:15pm audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 2:15pm audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 1:45pm with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements. If you have not arrived by 2:00pm your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list and you will be moved to the next available audition slot. We cannot guarantee that that will be the next audition group. Accelerated Honors Geometry - Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School

This course is available to students who qualify for Honors Geometry, who are interested in taking the course over 6 weeks in the summer to be able to take Honors Algebra 2/Trig during the 2016-2017 school year. Stamford Lacrosse Camp Week 2 & PM All Sports Camp - Westhill High School
For Boys ages 6-12 years old. Players of all abilities are welcome to join us for a fun instructional camp of lax drills, skill competitions, contests and games! Players will be divided up into two main groups by age and will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game. Players will be coached by former high school coaches, college and high school players and each group in the camp will be supervised by an adult coach. Players must bring their own equipment.
