7th-9th Grade Week - Grindstone Lake Bible Camp
7th-9th grade week occurs at the same time as our senior high week, but they are not part of the senior high week. They have different schedules and do different activities. Is there a better place to spend a week of your summer than at camp? For over 80 years, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp has been a summer tradition for many families! Located on the beautiful shores of Grindstone Lake in Sandstone MN, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp offers many opportunities for summer fun, and this year is no exception! Your Week will be filled with swimming, meeting new friends, canoeing/kayaking, learning new skills, playing games, arts and crafts, climbing our indoor Rock Wall, exploring Gods world through the Creation Center, and best of all. digging deeper into Gods Word! Fly Fishing - The Evergreen School
Fly fishing is a sport that teaches patience, improves motor skills, and fosters an appreciation for nature. No one can walk away from losing a five minute battle with a stubborn trout without a deep respect for the fish! Students will learn the basics of fly fishing – setting up their rod and reel, knot typing, basic overhead casting, selecting the right fly, etc. Discussion will also include the history of fly fishing, how its different from other kinds of fishing, and entomology. Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp Combo. (Grades 6 - 12) Camp is two sessions (June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4) combined for one low price of $348.00! The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: Camp is only open to children entering grades 6-12. Registering ineligible children will result in removal from program and no refund. No residency restrictions.
