First off, forgetting to pack a toothbrush or comb is very common. Summer camps are always fully equipped to handle such issues. These programs and their talented staff will not allow children to go hungry or without important items like toiletries. There are usually extra items on site for youth to wear. Many programs have everything from extra sleeping bags, blankets, and sheets to extra shampoo. Parents may be called if the child needs something specific or important like medications. Learn to sew in this project packed Sewing Camp just for teens! Every day you will learn a new skill and have something you made yourself to take home with you! Our summer camps are designed with age-appropriate projects to accommodate children age 6-12. Youth Winter Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place will be doing a FREE Youth Winter Camp. Grades 6th thru 12th. This camp will be focusing on Community Service, Discipleship, We will be having youth grades 6 to 12 stay overnight for three nights. We will be doing community service hours on Friday and Saturday. We will be taking the youth to serve senior citizens in the surrounding area. The youth will be making gifts to bring to the elderly. The youth will also be disciples through a program through D-Now Studies called "The Pause" this discipleship course is four sessions and it will equip youth to learn how to seek God in a never ending multitasking environment. They will each receive a student book and t-shirt. We will be having a New Years Eve party for them. Live band and student mentors will be with them during the camp. Weather permitting we will be shoveling snow and going to sledding hills to pass out free hot cocoa and the gospel message. Possibly do "laundry Love" where we go into a local laundry mat and pay for everyones laundry to be done and more!! OTL Scritp[ed] - Writers Workshop - San Diego Writers, Ink
OTL Script[ed] a six-week screenwriting workshop where youll get an introduction to the fundamental concepts of screenwriting: reading and analyzing professional screenplays; reading, analyzing, and critiquing your classmates work; and, most importantly, writing an original screenplay. You will outline, write, and revise a short script (6-12 pages) with the goal to be screen ready!
