Yes, boys will boys and that's why this camp experience was tailor made for our two pre-teens. It seems like they never run out of energy and this was the perfect environment to keep them busy. I also very much liked the ability to check in and see how they were progressing. Tremper Cheerleaders are holding their Basketball Cheer Kid's Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 4th from 9:00 am to Noon at Tremper High School. Girls will play games, learn cheers, jumps and a short dance. Cost is $30.00 which includes a t-shirt to wear on the performance day which is Tuesday, Feb. 7th @ 5:30. Girls should arrive at Tremper at 4:30 to run through things. The girls will do sidelines for the 1st half of the JV Basketball game with the Tremper Cheerleaders and then perform at 1/2 time with them as well. After halftime, they are free to leave. This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Join one of Pasadenas most popular summer camps! Victory Park Camp has earned its longstanding reputation as a high-quality, fun, affordable, enriching program. Each day begins with a morning pep rally that sets the stage for an action-packed day. Activities include outdoor play, dance, arts and crafts, including painting, sculpting, lanyard making and chalk drawings, fitness activities and enrichment. Enrichment classes include health, hygiene and first aid instruction, cooking classes, computer and robotics play and specialized sports instruction in tennis and golf. Campers spend at least two hours daily doing physical fitness in the form of choreographed dance, group games, fitness competitions, team sports and supervised free play. Campers are escorted across the park to Pasadena High Schools swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. Before entering the pool, campers receive a water safety lesson. This weeks theme "End of Summer / Talent Show" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library.
