In August, the University Club of Saint Paul invites their club's younger demographic on a very popular camping trip to Stout's Island Lodge. With their sleeping bags, tents, fishing poles, and bug spray, the kids and their chaperones head off for a three-day camping trip on the private rustic island... an excellent way to wrap up the summer! Week 5: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - HoLa Middle School - Rue Building
Please note: Applicable Discounts will be calculated automatically AFTER you hit the checkout button. There is 50% Multi-week discount applied to the 4th and 5th week tuition when you register for 4 or more weeks. There is also a sibling discount of 10%. Early Bird registration of 10% if registered by April 1, 2016. Daily Snack is included, Lunch is available for $5 per day- you will be sent menu options at a later date. Our Aventureros will put on their backpacks, gather their passports and off they will go on their Summer Classroom Adventure! This is a perfect way for current HoLa and other bilingual students to support the Spanish they have acquired and a wonderful way for incoming HoLa students to ease into a fun, stress-free Spanish immersion experience. The program will be overseen by HoLa Aftercare Director Margarita Garcia and HoLa faculty. Children will engage in multicultural games, physical activities, crafts, art, music, dance and other local adventures that will be aligned to the introduction and strengthening of Spanish Language Arts, creative writing and mathematics skills. Seussical Jr! - Hoover Cast - Stage Kids CA at The Historic Hoover Theater
**Participants MUST be registered in a class to be able to participate in this production. Seussical Jr! Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child who gets in trouble for thinking too many "thinks." Hortons challenge is twofold - not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg thats been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant! All who register will be cast. Auditions Saturday, February 13th , from 2 - 5 for part placement.
