What is the Summer Camp Cost?
A week of summer camp can cost anywhere from $400-$600 or as much as $1,000 or more. The price tag of programs is higher or lower depending on the camp’s focus, the activities and if the organization offers financial aid. Some camps cost more per week because they offer specialized activities like sailing and horseback riding. The higher cost covers the care of the equipment and skilled instructors.

Mon, July 11, 2016 - Fri, July 15, 2016 Summer Art Camp at the SCGA Morning Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm: Fun in the Mud (Ages 4-7) In this beginner’s pottery class students will be introduced to different kinds of clay, the pottery wheel, a variety of hand-building skills and colorful glazes. We will draw inspiration for our creations from children’s stories as we combine art, storytelling and play in this unique class offering. Space is the Place (Ages 4-7) “Houston, we have lift off!” Join us for a week of activities designed to engage our youngest students through both visual art and science. We will learn about rockets, the Milky Way, black holes, the solar system, our unique moon and more through painting, sculpture, and mixed media art projects. Modern Masters (Ages 8-12) introduces children to the wonderful world of Van Gogh, Cézanne, Dali, Chagall and Matisse. Using famous works of art to understand the artist’s styles, children reproduce their own artwork. These lessons are classic examples of how mixing art history with simple, foundational techniques can create the most beautiful works of art. Christian Survivor Junior High Session #2 - Uskichitto
Our most unique camp, and a staff favorite! The spiritual focus of this camp is communing with God through His creation. Campers will sleep "outdoors" in our enclosed yurts and cook two meals a day over an open fire. Worship under the stars nightly. No previous camping experience required! 2016 Goalkeeper Premier Academy Soccer Camp - Steamboat Springs, Colorado
The Premier Goalkeeper Academy is designed with the dedicated and aspiring goalkeeper in mind. 9-Days of intense Goalkeeper training will elevate each players skills to the next level. Participants will participate within the Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 1 and then continue their development into Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 2 and incorporating a progression of training topics and concepts. SSA staff coaches work with an attention-to-detail approach that insures maximum development. Additionally, teaching aspiring habits for total peak performance, learning new recovery and rejuvenation protocols, and how to better manage the demands of top-level athletic training and competition. Finally, off field activities will be incorporated with choices such as Paddelboarding, yoga, mountain bike ride on Steamboats Mt Werner, zip lining and more. Jewelry Making for the Kidn me - Barn Art Classroom
The Kidn Me camps are designed for children from age 5 -18 and a parent or caregiver. This class will cover the basics of simple bead stringing. You will learn to make earrings using wire head pins, beads and pre-made earring hooks. You will design a simple bracelet and learn to finish it with crimp beads and a clasp. Simple necklace styles will be presented and you will design and finish one with your choice of clasp!
