Santa Fe is home to a rich, diverse and ancient history of many cultures. This week we will put on our detective hats to sleuth out some of our local lore combined with outdoor exploration. We will learn about archeology and what a real archeologist does. Well travel to Bandelier and Pecos National Monument to learn about ancestral pueblo people, the Santa Fe Trail and civil war. Of course, no week of Mountain Kids would be complete without plenty of good old-fashioned adventures in nature! 505-699-6230

2015 End of Summer Guys Youth Camp - Gatlinburg, TN
This is the first youth camp hosted by St. Nofer Youth Meeting. We will be going to Gatlinburg, TN. The Cabin reserved is located in Gatlinburg on one of the highest peaks and the views of Mt. Le Conte are just spectacular, downtown Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg ski resort by day and the beautiful city lights by night. We will have 2 Lectures, PEP talks, spiritual discussions, chats among the youth, a lot of entertainments using the cabin features, all that aside from touring around the city. This Camp will be a guys only camp. Dates: September 25th – 27th (LEAVE FRIDAY at 5:00 PM— RETURN SUNDAY at 8:00 PM) The cost is $85/person (3 days, 2 nights) The cost includes: Cabin, Transportation, and Food Note: TBD attraction (additional cost will be added depending on the attraction). Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration. JUMP START SPORTS- CHEERLEADING CAMP (HALF-DAY) - Ben Robertson Community Center
Campers will learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We?ll also play fun cheerleading games and decorate crazy uniforms to wear at an exhibition on the last day of camp. Cheerleading camp provide children a highly active endeavor in a non-competitive environment that fosters fun and the development of friendships. Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Supplies: Campers should bring a snack and beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed.
