Teen Dance Camp! - Santa Clarita, CA
This camp is for students who are starting 7th grade through college age. Camp is 10am-2pm daily. Morning workshops include master classes with local instructors. After lunch session is performance rehearsal. Available dancers will perform the Saturday after camp! Cost is $250 for the 2 weeks and includes camp shirt and field trip TBD. Space is limited. We are excited to invite the whole Alpha Omega Campus Ministry and the Junior and Seniors from the teen ministry to a Back to School Devotional. Beginning at 5:30pm the Campus Ministries will host a campus fair for the Juniors and Seniors to get information about the campuses in which they are interested. At 6:00pm we will start our devotional. We will have a time of worship, hear testimonies, and listen to the word of God being preached. The fair will continue afterwards. Join us for an inspirational time together.

Instructor: Awyee Storey Ages: 8-15yrs Mon ? Friday, Jul 11-15, 9:00am -3:00pm (M-TH); 9:00am-12:00pm (F) Location: Fairfax High School Field House (Gym) Led by former Washington Wizards forward Awvee Storey and his experienced staff, the camp will feature professional instruction for boys and girls, with the instruction designed for the specific skill level of the participants. Coach Storey was a standout collegiate basketball player at Arizona State University, before continuing his playing career professionally in the NBA with the Wizards, New Jersey Nets, and Milwaukee Bucks. Storey also competed professionally internationally in New Zealand and the Philippines. Beyond Your Best Books - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
This session will allow kids to convert their favorite stories into keepsake crafts using the process of upcycling. This experience will teach the importance of repurposing through creativity while encouraging conversations about the value and importance of literature in our lives. Participants will create several items from old books chosen for this purpose. While creating these items, we will discuss their favorite stories, the most fascinating characters, and why books and upcycling are important. *Participants will need to bring 3 hardback books of their choice; books that are in disrepair or those which would otherwise be recycled are recommended. Favorite childrens books are especially useful. Ms. Suzanne Russell earned her M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University.
