Weekly Wilderness Skills Youth Camp 12 and Ups - Indianapolis, IN
This is one of our greatest opportunities at White Pine. Participants recieve on-going mentorship in complex wilderness survival skills, tracking, and awareness. We are an aboriginal skills school. We teach these skills within an ethnohistorical context. Our intention is to deepen each persons relationship with their environment, their ancestry, their community and themselves. All this within the context of "the invisible school" a mentorship model that disguises curriculum in games, stories, and spontanious nature learning. Cost is $35.

Kids Camp (Columbus Day No School) Ages 11 to 16 - Plano, IL
Kids can join us from 10am-1pm and complete three different art projects using different mediums. All fall/Halloween projects. Pottery, Fused Glass & Canvas. Pottery & Glass projects will be available for pick up with in 5-7 days. Canvas project will go home that day. This session recommended ages 11yrs to 16yrs. $35 per artist.

Sea Perch Robotics - Middle School
This exciting new offering will coordinate with the Webb Institute. Located in Glen Cove, the Webb Institute is a private engineering college, offering a dual major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Participants in the Sea Perch Program will build an underwater robot. The completed the robots will then be brought to Webb Institute for a day of in-water testing and head-to-head competitions that determine how well the robots were constructed and how well the human operators can control their custom-built submersible seacraft. Weeks 5-8 PM: 420 Racing Program (Session 2) - NESS
Come learn what it takes to be successful in fleet and team racing (the fun and challenging form of sailing as a team sport). Our experienced race coaches will challenge students to perfect their boat handling techniques, with the skipper and crew developing and refining coordination and mutual reliance. Students will work on improving and refining their boat-handling skills and developing together as a two-person team. Students will be challenged to perfect their upwind and downwind sailing techniques and will learn to better use hiking straps, tiller extensions, and sail controls and will develop their spinnaker and trapeze skills. Students will expand their knowledge of wind, weather, and tides, and will work on basic racing techniques and rules. Students will be encouraged to compete in the many local 420 regattas that we tow boats to by water. All students will be under the supervision of our race coaches in class and at local regattas. In addition to fleet racing, coaches will teach the techniques, tactics and rules of team racing through practice drills and a practice-race format. The Elephants Child - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
Children the whole world round have delighted to the telling and re-telling of Rudyard Kiplings beloved story of how the Elephants child got his trunk. This charming musical adaptation perserves much of Kiplings clever text with its fascinating word rhythms and oral imagery, while five original songs capture the mystery and humor of Elephants childs exciting adventure down the "Great Grey-Green Greasy limpopo River". Costumes, dance, and wonderful dialogue mixed with the these great songs will give our youngest actors a spectacular time creating a mini-musical for family and friends while learning how to work as a team. High Seas Adventure Camp Ahoy mateys! Summer fun is on the horizon at an exciting new camp for aspiring buccaneers.
