Once the program is selected, it is time to apply and register. Spots often fill up rather quickly, especially for competitive or popular programs. Parents should star their research process early, even in winter, to find a great camp and sign up.

Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
Teen week was so much fun during 2016, we have added it again for 2017. This is a special session only for those 13 and older. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.
2nd Annual Fox Camp Youth Hunt - undefined, MS
Hosted by Jeremy and Joni McLarty. Saturday, November 5th. Eat at 12:00, draw for hunting spots at 1:30, hunt at 2:30 until dark (exact stopping time will be announced on day of hunt). All people who attend Beulah Church are invited to come eat and attend event, and any non-hunters are invited to hang out at the cabin during hunt. Open to any kids between the ages of 5 and 11 years-old who attend Beulah Church. All entries must have an adult who is over the age of 21 to accompany them on their hunt. All entries and accompanying adults must sign a release form on day of hunt. Limit one buck and one doe per kid. The hunt will be held at Jumper Lake this year, only a few miles from the church. Each participant is asked to bring their own ATV or 4-wheel drive truck if possible, if not then please let hosts know ahead of time so we can try to make arrangements for you. Dont try this at home: the sequel! If you missed it last year, dont make the same mistake twice! This fun, mess-filled camp is making a comeback with more ooey-gooey, messy fun! Join in as we suds things up with wet-felting, get down and dirty in clay or turn up the psychedelic vibes with some tie-dye! Campers should bring lunch, drinks and two snacks (due to allergies, please make sure all food is peanut free) PFACs camps are led by one teaching artist per 12-15 students with assistance from Camp Counselors. If youre child may need additional assistance beyond what a teaching artist could provide, please let us know. Parents are always invited to stay in the classroom. 757-596-8175

Drop-off starts at 8 am, with the first art class at 9am. Options include a day until 3 pm or 6pm. Explore the world of robotics using the new LEGO® Mindstorms EV3® line. Learn how to build and program robots by designing simpler versions of real world robots. Youll create a bot patterned after Starwood Hotels robot butler, which can be programmed to deliver objects to guests. Youll make an animatronic creature which senses people and says hello to them. Youll also make a line-following bot and one which moves along like an inchworm. Plus, well spend a morning working in teams to build and program robots to complete missions similar to those in First LEGO® League (FLL) competitions! Create your own scrolling adventure game using Stencyl®, one of the newest and best ways to create games for a computer or mobile device.
