The week long day camp offers a wide variety of sports and activities for campers to participate in. Activities included are: basketball, swimming, soccer, volleyball, tennis, ping pong, kick ball, arts and crafts, and others. All activities take place on the beautiful Hayward campus of Cal State East Bay. A daily lunch is provided and if there are any dietary needs just let us know and we can accommodate your camper. The only equipment that your camper will need to bring are: swim suit, towel, goggles (if preferred), snacks, and shoes to be active in (sandals are highly discouraged). Sunscreen is available to all campers as requested. 510-885-3038

Be A Civil War Soldier: KID’S CAMP - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 9-12 years old? On Saturday 24th, in connection with National Public Lands Day, Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 15 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is September 17th. NavYouth Spring Retreat! Downright Different Relationships Fri Mar 11 – Sun Mar 13 New location! Camp Mardela in Denton, MD, on the Eastern Shore near the Delaware border. Leave Fri afternoon (time TBD) & return Sun afternoon. Except for one fast-food meal on the way, all meals are included, Fri dinner thru Sun lunch. Total cost $85 — money needed by Mon Mar 7. Scholarships available if cost is holding you back. Discount for families sending more than one student — only $50 for each additional student after the first. Let us know by the 7th if you can come!

School is out for Election Day! Don’t stress, Nutty Scientists has you covered with an All-Day Camp filled with Interactive Workshops, Scienceful Art Projects, and Cool Inventions! You can either purchase camp time by the hour for $5 per hour or you can purchase the whole day! $45 w/ Lunch/Snack/Juice. $40 w/ NO Lunch/Snack/ Nor Juice. Lunch will be Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza and we will supply juice and snack. If you select the NO LUNCH option you MUST provide Lunch & Snack. We have a water fountain but you may also send juice or water! PLEASE do not send any type of nuts to Nutty Scientists with your child. We have many little ones with nut allergies! If you are registering hourly, choose number of tickets per hour you are registering for. Example: You want 3 hours, select 3 tickets next to hourly pass. Ages accepted is 5-11! Time: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm 9:00am – 10:00am is drop off. The door will remain locked until 9:00am. This is considered an “early drop-off” to cater to more parents getting to work. Activities as usual start at 10:00am!

Have a blast acting out on the stage! Campers will gain and strengthen tools for creating characters, stories, and wacky scenarios for the stage. Pick your session or take them all, as each week offers a new creative path for campers to explore. Character development, playwriting, improvisation, ensemble work and overall confidence are just some of the skills campers will master! Develop quick and accurate typing skills in this practical computer program. Daily lessons will include touch-typing techniques, drill sessions to improve accuracy, and tutorials in Microsoft Word & Excel. There will also be some games and competitions to fill out the program. Staff Peter Vitz, a lower school teacher, directs the program.
