Each week we have exciting games and events planned just for you. Mondays: Mission: Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus Tuesdays: In-House Field Trips/ Dress up Day Wednesdays: Movie and Pizza Day Thursdays: Splash Day Fridays: Game Day Relays and Nature Walks In addition to these weekly events, Campers will also enjoy the following Litcherman Animals visit Ms. Charlottes Musical Melodies on Thursdays Dance Parties Nature Walks Summer Camp 2016 Weekly Themes Week 1: Up in the Air Week 2: Memphis Mammals Week 3: Reptile Roundup Week 4: Jeepers Creepers Week 5: We Love Bugs Week 6: Birds of a Feather Week 7: Natures Hide and Seek Wednesdays: Campers will enjoy cheese pizza on Wednesdays; on other days please bring a sack lunch and drink. Campers will need to bring their own snacks. We will have one special snack a week that the campers will help prepare. Documentary Teen Camp - Houston, TX
Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. They will be documenting the AFA students' progress and the finished piece will be screened on July 29th at the MATCH. Cost: $275 REGISTER AT www.swamp.org

Gather your future campers! On February 27th, families from all over Central Indiana are invited to join us at the 27th Annual Indy's Child Magazine Summer Camp Fair. More than 60 overnight camp, day camp and summer program exhibitors will be on hand to answer your questions. Plan your child's summer of fun all in one day. To top it off, there will also be lots of fun entertainment from face painters, our prize wheel, mock covers, and much more. Stay tuned as we continue to announce more details including a list of the various camp programs that will be participating. We can't wait to see you!

From cooking class to sports and art to education, plan an awesome summer your kids won't forget! Hosted by the GCS Mom's League, a non-profit organization aiming to support moms and their families through friendship, resources, and service. The event is free and open to all families in the community. Guests to GCS Mom's League, please RSVP here. Members can RSVP through our GCSML MeetUp site. Children are welcome to accompany thier parent to the event. As normal with GCSML General Meetings, childcare is available but only offered to members.

The Lancers Track & Field Club and World Record Camps are offering a pre-season conditioning program for all high school and middle school athletes are welcome ! No tryouts, no cuts. Club Training Dates: 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays or Fridays, January 4th - February 19th, 3:00pm - 5:00pm Cost: $159 Why you should join? Training sessions led by Lancers coaches. Singing for the Stage and Beyond - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed to introduce and strengthen the fundamentals of voice/singing for the adult voice. Students will learn proper breathing placement and projection techniques, as well as technical and interpretive principles. In addition, students will learn to select and prepare songs for their particular voices. Limited to ages 17 and older. INSTRUCTOR BIO: BEVERLEY BENDA, a professional singer by trade, is a classical soprano with The United States Army Band Pershings Own, and Programming NCO and Script Writer for their Public Affairs Office. She has performance and teaching degrees from James Madison University, Eastern Illinois University, and The Eastman School of Music, and has appeared in a variety of musical productions including Brigadoon, Carmen, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Kismet, The Pirates of Penzance, Dialogue of the Carmelites, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Hollywood Pinafore, Its A Grand Night for Singing, and the first revival of Call Me Mister. A private voice teacher and vocal coach, her class at LTA is the longest-running in the theaters history. She is also on the LTA Board of Governor and is an award-winning costumer. 7036835778 x2

The SAT Prep Class at Loyola Blakefield is an intensive four-evening class that covers the Math, English, and Writing sections of the SAT. The class runs the Monday though Thursday before each SAT test and covers two days of math and two days of English/Writing. Topics include coverage of basic SAT curriculum, test taking strategies, and the completion of SAT test questions. The class runs evenings from 7 – 9:30 pm. Cost is $175. Class size is limited to twenty- five students per session. The math portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Mr. Jose Albornoz. Mr. Albornoz has been a mathematics teacher at Loyola Blakefield for the past thirty years. He has taught all levels of mathematics from 7th grade pre-algebra through Advanced Placement Calculus. 2015 -2016 will be his 31st year at Blakefield and his 7th teaching the SAT Prep Class. The English portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Ms. Kelly Christ. With a BS in English and Secondary Education from Towson University and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College, Ms. Christ is entering her 16th year of teaching.
