The AP History prep class is for MUS rising 10th or 11th graders enrolled in either AP United States History or AP European History for the 2016-17 school year. Students will be introduced to the new AP exam format and develop the necessary skills to succeed on the exam and in the class. 901-260-1300
Little Puffs Sailing Camp | Week 9 - Cherry Creek Reservoir
Little Puffs Sailing Camps is a FUN and safe way to introduce children 5-7 years old to boating and water safety. FUN, safety and boating will be the hallmarks of our Little Puffs Camps. This weeklong camp will focus on sailing and other activities. Participants should bring a lunch, bathing suit, towel, change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and water shoes. Lego® StoryStarter II 2:30 - Mt. Bethel Elementary
Story telling was never this much fun! Utilizing the LEGO® StoryStarter set we will introduce students to the basic structures of a well-composed story (making this class a great language arts tool). At the same time we will also introduce them to the world of technology as we show them how to animate their stories in their very own graphic storybook. They will build their LEGO® story scenes and (using photo capture and editing tools) bring the story to life in print. We will create multiple storybooks in this class and each student will receive a DVD containing printable versions of all their creations to take home. In StoryStarter II we will have the same great fun but with all new story types and plots! We will delve further in the story telling process by emphasizing character development and 5 step story telling. You do NOT have to take the first class in order to take II. 770-826-0449
