July 18-21, Pioneer Camp, 9:30am-noon, $60 Have you ever wondered how the Pioneers lived long ago? This camp will allow you to experience many of the daily experiences of that time period bringing history to life. Print on a printing press, weave on a loom, learn how a blacksmith creates metal objects, dip candles and play with old-fashioned toys. Explore the items in “Grandmother’s Trunk” and learn how they were used, and cook on the hearth in Har-Ber Village’s Living History Cabin.

CJ and Nick Naudet 4 year Varsity Basketball Lettermen from Bishop OHara High School and Timothy Waris Jr. currently playing on the varsity basketball team from Rockhurst High School will be running the basketball camp and showing the young campers what they have learned over the years playing basketball at Bishop OHara and Rockhurst High School. The AP History prep class is for MUS rising 10th or 11th graders enrolled in either AP United States History or AP European History for the 2016-17 school year. Students will be introduced to the new AP exam format and develop the necessary skills to succeed on the exam and in the class. 901-260-1300

Instructor Kim Agnew is a multi-disciplined dancer, choreographer and dance educator teaching all over the greater Bay Area including, Head Royce, dance and music outreach with the San Francisco Ballet and 13 summers with Marin Ballet. As many students repeat dance in ASP, off campus or during the regular school day, they begin to have creative dance ideas of their own. In this class, Kim will guide the dancers in creating their own group choreography using the dance skills they bring to class as well as learning some new ones. New dancers have great ideas too and are more than welcome to join class. The dancers really have to work as a team, try each others ideas and see what their moves look like when someone else executes it.
