Firefighter Youth Camp - Limerick, PA
Limerick Fire Company's 4th Annual YOUTH FIREFIGHTER CAMP June 19-23, 2017; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 6-13 years of age Why try this Camp? You will: ►Learn fire safety you thought you knew & then apply what you’ve learned ►Learn about the fire house, trucks (apparatus), and personnel ►Hands-on with various equipment ►Ladders-learn the how-to’s ►Hoses-proper techniques to connect to the hydrant, flow water, roll up, etc. ►Extinguishers-the ABC’s ►Rescue tools during simulated live demonstrations ►Fire gear-bunker pants, jacket, helmet, safety gloves & glasses all provided ►Watch & participate in several live demonstrations with the firefighters ►And so much more…. Registration will open around the beginning of May 2017.

Stan Schlueter Loop! Teacher Work Day ~ Full day services available, 7am-6pm, $30/student, pizza lunch provided or children may bring their own lunch, snacks provided, NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES or toys, however, children may bring books. Children will be engaged in fun activities, crafts, games, bouncy houses, indoor basketball, movie time, gaming systems, pool tables and more! Be sure to wear or bring SOCKS! Teachers/employees MUST visit The Park @ MTM prior to the date to complete necessary documents (repeat customers do not need new paperwork) and make payment. We are open daily to accept new registrations during any of our hours of operation. The cost of this package is just $30/student. This is a NON-CONTACT sports camp. Each camper will receive positive individual instruction on the game of football. Local 2016 area college football signees along with former Arkansas Razorbacks Clint Stoerner, Tommy Harris, and Matt Harris will be in attendance. Ouachita Baptist University All-American Brent Calhoun, Waymon Johnson, and Dallas Cowboy great Cliff Harris will encourage youth players to work their hardest at the camp. High school athletes, coaches and football staff will work at the camp in order to provide each camper with quality instruction. Each camp session will also deal with the teaching and discussion of character issues such as honesty and sportsmanship. Each camper will get a chance to earn awards at the end of camp day. This is a great opportunity for local young boys and girls to have a great time in a fun camp. Don’t worry parents. There will plenty of water provided… The cost of the camp is $40 per camper. The camp tuition includes all camp activities, a camp T-shirt, hydration station, and lunch. Concession stand will be provided and parents are invited to stay and watch! AFTERNOON SESSION ONLY (12:45pm - 3:30pm) Camps are co-ed, 4th - 8th grades (based on the 2016-17 school year). This all day camp is designed for the serious basketball player who wants to make a school or travel team, move up a level on a travel team, or firm up their spot on an existing team. This camp is designed to prepare you for tryouts by giving you the skills and confidence to perform at your highest level. Each day a peak performance discussion topic will be covered to give the campers the insights they need to stay healthy, focused, and confident. Topics will include nutrition, conditioning and stretching, as well as tips on how to deal with the mental side of competitive basketball. Scrimmages will be used daily so that participants can utilize the skills theyve learned. These camps will be conducted by the professional training staff of the 43 Hoops Basketball Academy. Player to trainer ratio will be 8:1 or less. Through class discussions, books, films, and documentaries, students will gain a greater understanding of the fashion world and illustration as a form of self expression.
