Video Production Camp is a hands-on educational fun summer camp experience. Filmmakers will be challenged to create a short film during their week of camp while experiencing and shooting rowing, snorkeling, exploring shipwrecks using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), blacksmithing, hiking, and much more. This week-long program gives you the opportunity to build your filmmaking skills and knowledge from any experience level using your own camera or phone as well as our collection of GoPro cameras, DSLRs, and editing computers. First off, forgetting to pack a toothbrush or comb is very common. Summer camps are always fully equipped to handle such issues. These programs and their talented staff will not allow children to go hungry or without important items like toiletries. There are usually extra items on site for youth to wear.
Many programs have everything from extra sleeping bags, blankets, and sheets to extra shampoo. Parents may be called if the child needs something specific or important like medications. Summer Camp Reunion Weekend - Paige, TX
We just love seeing our campers and their families return to the village in February and March to enjoy Sherwood Forest Faire, and obviously a great part of that is when campers encounter each other! This year, for the first time, we would like to have an official "Reunion" for our Youth Campers and Adult Campers alike to help facilitate that. Both events (which will be separate, because we don't want the Adult Campers teaching the younger ones bad habits) will take place during weekend #2, Feb 20-21. Mark your calendar! New Hope serves children and youth of Oklahoma ages 5-18 who have an incarcerated parent. Our summer camps offer unique opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive enviornment. Our camps depend upon our volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help us prepare for camp, at camp, in-between camps, and after camp. There is a role and opportunity for everyone! Lenape Day Camp - Session I (Grades 1-6) Recreational camp provides a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, multi-cultural games, fitness, science, nature, and swimming. Field trips and special presentations are planned throughout the summer. Swim program is not optional. All campers will participate in a 1/2 hour American Red Cross swim lesson and a 1/2 hour of recreational swim each day. Registration is for full two-week session. Lenape cannot be combined with other specialty or sport camps offered by the Township. Pre and Post Camp care is offered at Millstone River School through WWP Community Education for an additional fee. Children enrolled in pre/post camp will be escorted by camp staff members between the two schools.
