Junior EXCEL 2016 - Ripley Grier Studios
Broadway Workshops Junior Excel Intensive is a 5-day program geared toward students ages 9-13 with an extremely strong passion for the performing arts. Junior Excel students will study the 3 disciplines of musical theatre in small groups. Students will prepare solo and small group pieces in preparation for our end of program production, where they will perform for a panel of New York agents, mangers and casting directors, as well as family and friends. Extreme Robotics - Middle School
In Extreme Robotics, students have extreme fun while exploring the world of technology. Using all sorts of household items, including electrical motors and gadgets, they get to build their own robots. Using applied science and engineering, students learn to solve problems while exploring various scientific principles, from biomechanics to hydraulics to magnetism and chemistry. Finally, the student made robots are put to the ultimate test in fun competitions, with prizes being awarded for the most innovative and best functioning inventions, robots, and designs. Futuristic Dream Houses - The Evergreen School
Students will combine a wide variety of elements of design, engineering, and fantasy to create models of their own futuristic dream house. Well be learning how to and using the laser cutter for structure, 3D printer for furniture and features, electronic elements for lighting or elevators or… whatever else your child can dream up for their futuristic house. This class will focus on design, prototyping, craftsmanship, and creativity to produce the models, whether elaborate or sleek. Tiger Starts and Turns - Session 2 - Mizzou Aquatics Center
The most vital components of any race are starts and turns. With a focus on power, speed, and efficiency, the Tiger Starts and Turns Camp will help campers maximize their race potential. This popular camp is designed to enhance starts, turns, and breakouts for all four strokes and is open to all swimmers age 8-18. One Week Demigod Institute - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Students will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. This program involves an application process which is begun with your students registration. Not all applicants are accepted. applicants who are not selected will be invited to participate as campers (early bird rates) Our highly acclaimed Demigod Institute program fosters innovation in students who are preparing for university in a variety of fields. As part of a close-knit team, the program is truly a hands-on training program, as the participants co-plan programs, lead quests, create collaborative innovative projects, assist in teaching activities, and share responsibility for the camp operations. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered.
