The week long camp will provide campers the opportunity to work side by side certified lifeguards. During the class you will learn water safety, improve your swimming skills, rescue techniques, CPR and the use of professional Lifesaving equipment. *Please note that the camp will not certify you as a lifeguard, it serves as an introductory course. Great River Advanced Camp - Great River Golf Club
The Advanced Camp offers serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer with a handicap of 15 or lower. The camp concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels. Middle school and high school teens with developmental disabilities. Designed for campers who require a low-sensory, less-active camp environment. Special theme days and activities, games, crafts, and field trips adapted for group interaction and relaxation. Limited personal care provided (i.e. assistance with changing).
