*This class is for ALL students age 4-6 in both Preschool and Kindergarten. Kindergarteners have an opportunity to further develop their drawing skills before entering our hour-long KidzArt IMAGINE! class. Instruction is modified for each childs abilities. Limited to 8 students.* Learning about art and how to draw is like learning a new language with KidzArt DISCOVER! The ‘language of art begins with the recognition of lines and shapes. We show students how these lines and shapes can fit together to create a complete whole. Then we introduce them to the tools to do it for themselves. Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well.
