You asked – we listened! We’re debuting 5 mini-camp sessions designed specifically for the “older kiddos!” These camps focus on fun and skill building over 3 consecutive afternoons of concentrated creation – allowing time for larger projects and deeper investigation of themes hand picked from customer recommendations! These camps run from 1-4 in the afternoon and are designed for students in 5th grade and up. Early bird registration rates are $75 for 1 mini camp, $100 after May 15. July 5-7: LET ME MAKE A SELFIE! – It’s time for your close up! Create a variety self portraits using photography, collage, painting, drawing, printmaking and more!

“This is where I come every year to reflect, re-vision and rejuvenate. It’s my new year!”–Spirit Quest Teen Camper Spirit Quest for Teens is for 13-17-year-olds, who are moving into young adulthood and who need a safe, nurturing place to reflect on where they have been, where they are going and who they are becoming. Camping together, teens develop deep connections to their selves, their peers, their elders and Nature through --council circles, --team-building games, --nature-awareness activities and hikes, --poetry and art --movement and improv --drumming and journeying --sharing in meal preparation --solo time in nature --fire ceremonies and sweat lodges --mediation and yoga Life-long friendships are formed or deepened; issues of self-esteem and soul work are explored with a true honoring of each teen’s unique path. Teens are invited to camp for the whole week, beginning on Sunday afternoon and ending Saturday at noon to allow for more time together. Mini-Resident Camp brings the Resident Camp experience to campers new to overnight camp or with a busy schedule. Campers enjoy all that camp has to offer and stay in cabins with other mini-resident campers. 612-235-7284
Payette River School - Forest Service Park
Explore raging whitewater in the beautiful Payette River Valley where we will prepare you for problem solving. We mix knowledge of outdoor and Dutch oven cooking, basic medical and emergency evacuation with river knowledge. Learn how to flip a boat back over and get in, how to read water and guide paddle strokes while observing an impressive combination of native birds, fish and wildlife. Sport Foundations Summer Basketball Camp - Fields/Diamonds/Gym/Courts
Sport Foundations Basketball Skills Academy one day camps are designed to teach and develop basketball skills, including fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding and defense. Often times with AAU and travel basketball the focus of practice is more on "game play and plays". Developing great shooting technique is becoming a lost art. Footwork and ball handling is underdeveloped at the High School level. The fundamentals of basketball will be taught and then reinforced with a series of drills. The following offensive series will be taught and drilled: shooting, basket attack, low post moves, high post moves, ball handling, rebounding and defense. Sport Foundations will use recent research on focus of attention to create muscle memory responses that hold up to psychological and physical stress that occur in competition. The performance of basketball skills are based on motor learning and skill, not just repetition. This camp is for players who have had some basketball experience. Summer sessions at the Tiny Scientist Day School are a time to let curiosity and a love of play guide our days. Children will explore water, make nutritious frozen summer treats, play with bubbles, plant seeds and watch them sprout and have plenty of outdoor play! Sessions are available on a weekly basis, with options for a 2, 3, 4 or 5 day sign up. Drop-off time is between 8 and 9 AM, and our pick-up time is between 3 and 4 PM. 7188328400.0
