Kid's Rock Summer Camp - Roanoke, VA

Teen Summer Camp - Macedonia, OH
Long Tail Knits will be hosting a summer camp for students looking to learn to knit or crochet. This will be held at the store June 13 through June 17 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will learn the basics in knit/crochet. Your choice. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 per day or $125.00 for the week. If you pay for the entire week ahead of time, you will receive a 10% discount. This does not include the cost of materials. We will be offering beginner patterns for those who are just starting out and for those who have some of the basics down, we will have intermediate beginner projects for learning other techniques and stitches. Bling My Room - Lower School
Does your childs room need a makeover? This camp allows children to create beautiful pieces that add glam to their room! Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind creation as campers get to combine many different artistic mediums. They learn canvas painting by completing a monogrammed painted canvas ready to hang. They learn the art of mosaics by creating their own message board. They learn pottery painting and glazing techniques by creating their very own tissue box cover. AIT (Aide in Training - Girls entering grades 7-8 who have not completed AIT training) - Huddart Park
Girls entering grades 7-8 in fall 2016 are encouraged to take part in our leadership training program. This culminates in a completion ceremony on the Tuesday overnight, which all girls are encouraged to attend. The AITS are still considered campers and spend their time preparing for their future roles as program Aides the following year (entering 8th grade). It is necessary that girls registering as AITS are able to attend camp the entire two weeks of the program. The administrative team is continually striving to provide all of our campers an excellent camp experience. Well-trained Aides are critical to this goal! Please note, girls must attend camp all days to complete the AIT program. Girls who were AITs last year but did not attend all days of camp must register as an AIT again this year. **PLEASE NOTE – The AIT unit will be filled to a maximum enrollment of 60 based on the criteria of the Admission Policy. Explore innovative ways to incorporate common household materials, found objects, and recyclables into fantastic art! We will focus on the processes as well as the products of creating both two- and three-dimensional pieces of art. Part of everyday will be spent making puppets out of recycled materials and producing a short performance at the end of the week. This promises to be a very busy and creative week!
