This affordable summer camp pulls out all the stops. My 12 year old son has attended this camp the last 4 years. The camp teaches youngsters ages 8-14 survival skills if they are ever lost or in a dangerous situation. They learn simple things such as how to treat a bee sting, to complex issues such as creating an overnight shelter to sleep in. These skills help create independence and confidence in children.... It's that time of year again. PAC Modern is hosting our 8th annual Summer PAC Camp! PAC Camp is a 6 week program where dancers of all ages can learn in a welcoming and fun environment. Teens Summer Camp Half Day session 8 - Alliance Francaise Los Angeles
Teens dive deep into French in our summer immersion classes. Every week, students will focus on improving French reading, writing and conversation skills. Grouped according to age and level, our highly trained teachers will lead teens to pick up communication skills while exploring Francophone culture. Open to all levels of Middle and High School French. These camps will help students in transition from Middle to High School, review past materials, get a head start on new material and skip a grade level. Mornings will focus on academics and in the afternoons teens will explore French cultures in Los Angeles with a program designed just for them!
Learn to Ride a Bike - Bear Creek Park
This is one of the most exciting camps because kids experience the joy of pedaling independently for the first time! This half day camp is perfect for the younger child who is still on training wheels or going from push bike to pedal bike. Our goal is to get them riding their own bike on two wheels by the end of the week using specific techniques, patience, and fun. You can come with training wheels on their bike if that is what they are used to riding. Or, if they are going from a push bike to a pedal bike, just make sure they have a bike that fits - no training wheels need to be added. We will work toward removing all training wheels as the week progresses. Please bring a helmet, 2 snacks, a water bottle, rain gear and closed toe shoes. You are welcome to bring a sack or picnic lunch and stay at the park after camp has ended. Parents need not be present during camp (and sometimes it is better if you are not there!) 7193553573.0

Golf Academy Week 6 (Mon-Fri 9 AM to 3 PM) - Lindero Country Club
The Golf Academy with PGA instruction has been designed for serious golfers with some prior knowledge and exposure to the game. Academy golfers are required to know the game of golf, golf rules and etiquette and preferably provide their own equipment. Field hockey camp combines fundamental skill work, scrimmage play and fun games to stimulate a love for the game and accelerate the athletes progress and success. Athletes work on dribbling, offensive moves, defensive skills, passing, hitting, sweeping, one-on-one attacking skills, one-on-one defensive skills, corner tactics and shooting.
