Summer Youth Art Camp: Grade 1 Summer art camp is the perfect retreat for the young artist. A faculty of professional artists and art educators provide hands-on activities that expose students to a variety of artistic styles and art processes. Campers rotate by age group to different studio classes for drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media. Daily enrichment activities may include entertainment, movement/dance, presentations and games that explore different cultures and forms of art. Parents are asked to provide a daily lunch, snacks and beverage for their children. A reception and art exhibition is held on the last Friday of camp. Would be an ok camp if you want your child hiking trails covered in trash & broken bottles. From one year to the next, the Y staff does nothing to clean up trash, fallen trees, glass. Last year a horse died on camp property. For what you pay to send your child to Camp Wijiwagan, I say just take them to the dump for a hike.... Read More...

JV/V (10-12 grades) Summer Football Camp - Seattle Preparatory School
The Seattle Prep, Varsity Football coaching staff is hosting an 11 day football camp for all returning JV or Varsity players, as well as any 10th-12th grade students interested in joining our football family. We strongly encourage all who intend to participate in football in the fall, attend this camp. Although the camp is a total of 25 days, we will only practice a total of 11 times. This allows for us to work around graduation, finals, and provide rest between practice days. This camp will provide our first opportunity for our new coaching staff to begin developing relationships with our players, teach philosophy and leadership skills, as well as install basic offensive, defensive, and special teams schemes that we will use in the fall. The emphasis of this camp will focus on teaching fundamental skills, general installs, and the More Than Winning philosophy of our program. The staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting month of football, as we prepare for Team Camp, and the upcoming football season.
