I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. It was more fun and had a lot of extras, so she was able to get the best of both worlds. The teachers are excited to teach and that’s why the campers learn so much. It's that time of year again! Time for our most awesome event of the year...Youth Camp!!! This year youth camp will be held beginning Monday, July 18 and will end with a camp BBQ on Friday, July 22nd. ****REGISTRATION**** Registration is $85 before July 1st. After July 1st, registration will be $100. Your registration fee covers meals and activities, please bring extra money for the canteen! **** We are excited to have Bro. Tony Bohrer, the Colorado District Youth President with us this year! He will be speaking in all of our evening services as well as our Friday morning dismissal service. This exciting class teaches you how to build and program the new LEGO Mindstorms NXT robot, the coolest robot available. You will use your new skills to meet such challenges as reacting to intruders, moving objects to different locations, stinging an intruder with a robot tail, or beating your opponent at Robot Sumo. You do not need experience with robotics or programming to begin your robotic adventure. 901-260-1300
Imagination Station (5-8) - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
Dragons, fairies, monsters, and more...oh my! Fire up your imagination and dive into the storybook realm. Make swords, design castles, and create magical wings! Join us as we explore a world of fantasy and imagination! Campers should bring lunch, drinks and two snacks (due to allergies, please make sure all food is peanut free) PFACs camps are led by one teaching artist per 12-15 students with assistance from Camp Counselors. Summit Football July 25-29 - Summit School
Summit Football July 25-29 Rising 3rd, 4th & 5th 9am-2pm Campers will learn fundamentals to be successful in football. The morning will focus on drills to improve throwing, catching, running, kicking, punting, as well as offensive and defensive positions. The afternoon will be filled with flag football games to put all of the fundamentals together. Campers would be encouraged to bring sneakers, cleats, shorts, hats, water bottles and a t-shirt. Mr. Mihalko was part of two high school championships and one national championship at the University of Notre Dame under Lou Holtz. The winning is not the focus of this camp. All our activities will be conducted with safety in mind. We will focus on fundamentals and fun! (336) 722-2777

Develop your riding skills and learn how to care for horses, including grooming, haltering and feeding them. Youll be grouped by skill level, with lessons tailored for your group. Spend half the day with the horses and half out and about in camp. Youll work toward your Animal Helpers badge. Not eligible for Cookie Camp. Rustic cabin accommodations. 619-610-0821
