Make summer time a great time to play and explore! Camp Kateri is a week-long day and overnight summer camp at Rosaryville Spirit Life Center located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Established in the 1960s, our youth summer camp continues to offer an exciting and enriching summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7-13. Each summer, Camp Kateri provides a special summer camp program of recreation, adventure, creativity and fun! From horseback riding, cooking and swimming to camp fires and canoeing, each day at camp is packed with discovery and great opportunities to build lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. The Rosaryville grounds are fully equipped with over 500 acres, a junior Olympic-size swimming pool, a 2-acre fishing pond, stables, gymnasium, nature trails and more. This is a NON-CONTACT sports camp. Each camper will receive positive individual instruction on the game of football. Local 2016 area college football signees along with former Arkansas Razorbacks Clint Stoerner, Tommy Harris, and Matt Harris will be in attendance. Ouachita Baptist University All-American Brent Calhoun, Waymon Johnson, and Dallas Cowboy great Cliff Harris will encourage youth players to work their hardest at the camp. High school athletes, coaches and football staff will work at the camp in order to provide each camper with quality instruction. Each camp session will also deal with the teaching and discussion of character issues such as honesty and sportsmanship. Each camper will get a chance to earn awards at the end of camp day. This is a great opportunity for local young boys and girls to have a great time in a fun camp. Don’t worry parents. There will plenty of water provided… The cost of the camp is $40 per camper.
