February: Build-A-Thon At Keystone Science School, STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) is an integral part of every experience. The Girls in STEM program dives even deeper by exploring not only the STEM concepts in an empowering girls-only environment, but also highlighting real women currently working in STEM careers. This program builds leadership and collaboration between the girls involved as they engage in fun, hands-on activities that impart new skills and confidence in science, tech, engineering, and math - areas in which girls are inclined to be wallflowers. The Junior Buffs Camp is designed for the beginning player looking to learn or improve his or her skills. Campers will be divided into groups by age and skill level while learning appropriate movements and volleyball skills in a fun atmosphere. Whether you are new to the sport or just want a refresher course on basic skill in a pressure free environment, this camp is for you! Every registration requires full payment. Water is an important resource for life and fun on a hot summer day! We will go on adventures to find the FUN in water, and will learn a lot in the process. We will go into the Santa Fe watershed to learn first hand where our water comes from and where it goes. We will hunt for aquatic macro-invertebrates (a new, big word!).
