A specialized science camp is a great option for a 13 year old boy. While there are some specialty camps that offer a day camp program, a 13 year old is going to have a better experience at a residential camp. Science camps offer such great activities as robotics workshops, science fairs, chess tournaments and instruction in physics and astronomy.
