I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. Around the World! Kid's Camp - Midland, MI
We are going around the world with this multi faceted day camp for kids! We will explore the art, language and culture of several different countries, including Brazil, Morocco and Japan. A variety of activities will fill our time together - art, sports, music and more! Campers will create and fill in their "passports" as we visit a new country each day. Kids from 8-13 are invited to join us for this 4 day camp, running Monday, August 15 - Thursday, August 18 from 9 am to 12:30 pm each day. Cost of camp is $120. Scottsburg Warrior Youth Football Camp - Scottsburg, IN
Scottsburg Warrior Youth Football Camp is ran by the SHS Football coaching staff, players, and former players. The camp is open to grades K-8 (2016) and the cost is $40. Campers should wear shorts, t-shirt, and cleats and report to the field behind SHS 30 minutes in advance (8:30) on July 18 to register. Camp runs from July 18-21, 9-11AM! Minecraft is more than just a popular game for kids. At AccelerateKID, we use it to teach information technology, entrepreneurship and computer programming. In Minecraft Camps, kids will learn about the Minecraft PC edition how all the commands work, the different modes & Worlds, and apply STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) to the projects.
