LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Cavalier Battalion Airsoft - 3 weeks - Airsoft @ The Heights
Experience airsoft Heights style! Acres of woods, forts, and airsoft battles: a recipe for a one of a kind camp experience. Each day the boys will be engaged in a different themed airsoft battle/game, while learning team building and leadership skills. At the start of camp the boys will be divided into brigades, these will be their brothers in arms for the remainder of the week. The brigades first challenge will be to take and pass a gun safety course, where the boys will learn how to properly and safely handle an airsoft weapon. After that the fun begins. The boys will be building their own fortifications that they will be defending each day. Battles will include: elimination, capture the flag, lone survivor among others. Each brigade will also compete in airsoft challenge games which include marksmanship, quick draw, target discernment, just to name a few. Throughout the week the boys will likewise learn about some of the greatest battles and military heroes of our time. Cost includes 5,000 rounds of ammunition. The first Summer Camp Music Festival was held in 2001 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. About 1,000 attended the festival that year, and enjoyed over 20 bands on 2 stages over the course of 2 days. Since then, Summer Camp Music Festival has grown to more than 15,000 attendees, hosting more than 100 bands on 7 stages over 3 days. And while our numbers have grown, Summer Camp still maintains the same energy and family feel we had when we started over a decade ago. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend special master classes on a variety of topics including selected orchestral audition excerpts, chamber music, harp maintenance, and career discussions.
