Summer Art Camp for Kids - Winslow, AR
Summer Art Camp for Kids babaMonday-Friday, July 11-15, 9-12am Special outdoor dinner and performance on Friday, July 15, beginning at 6pm. Explore new areas in the arts at Summer Art Camp, July 11-15 at Ozark Folkways! Create giant masks and bring the characters of the Russian folk tale Baba Yaga to life as you experiment with music-making, movement, and mime! There will be witches, magical animals, fabulous costumes, lights, music and action: fun for all levels. Everyone will take part in a final performance at dusk on Friday, July 15 on our outdoor stage, the Crow’s Nest. The community will be invited to join in a weiner roast before the show, and then to marvel at the amazing performance the kids will have put together in a single week! Cost is $25 per child and includes all supplies and a healthy mid morning snack each day. Space is limited! Pre-registration is required and spots are available on a first come first serve basis. Week V PM Play and Exploration - Franciscan Montessori Earth School
This camp, guided by the Montessori method, offers a mix of quiet play, story time, and outdoor activities that follow the rhythm of the child and the particular group. Activities may include play with clay, puzzles, and Legos; trips to the school library; nature walks; and harvesting snacks from the school garden. Children can nap if they need to. Following camp at 3:30, children can join regular afternoon child care until 5:30 (hours from 3:30 to 5:30 billed separately). 503-760-8220 x253

An Artistic Exploration - Old Trail School
Each day is a new adventure! Campers will spend the morning traveling to a variety of locations and enjoy an afternoon creating works of art that directly relate to that days adventure. Campers will visit the magical Akron Civic Theatre, wild Akron Zoo, beautiful Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, fascinating Akron Art Museum and fun Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway. Upcycled Textiles - OCS Arts Center
Denim and buttons and t-shirts, oh my! In this class campers will make all kinds of upcycled creations using discarded fabrics and sewing notions. Whether theyre an experienced sewer or crafter and enjoy working alongside others OR are interested in learning how to do any/all of these things, this is the class for them. Instructor: Leah Bradley This camp may be combined with: Storytellers, Combined Cost: $290 *** A minimum $50 deposit each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp. 502-241-6018
