Wonderful experience for so many years of my life
As a camper for 5 years, I think it speaks volumes that I decided to return as a counselor just to get another summer at such an amazing place. So many actives to pick from. What: PCM Softball invites future softball athletes in grades 2-6 to the 1st Annual PCM Softball Youth Camp. Athletes will receive instruction from high school student athletes and coaches. When: Grades 2nd & 3rd on March 6th, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Grades 4th – 6th on March 13th, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Cost: Registration is $20 (includes T-Shirt). Summer 4-6 Year Old Camp #2 - Island City, OR
This camp will be 3 days long and 2 hours per day. We will be working on Walk, Trot, Posting, Leading, Haltering, Steering, Grooming, Parts of the Saddle, Bridle and Horse, and fun trivia about care of ponies/horses. Every kid learns at their own pace. I am here to teach them about horses and riding, while being safe and aware. If they are soaring, I let them soar and will continue teaching them new things. If they need to slow down and work on some smaller things, then they get to. This young age group is here to learn and have fun doing it. Limit 6 Riders. $75 Current Count for Session 2: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Would you like to go on a journey to learn cool openings, mid-games with all the pins, double attacks, endgames and even bughouse? Would you like to be a part of a successful chess team, designed to cater to all levels of chess players? If so, join Chess Wizards for this camp! Campers will learn how to play chess in a fun atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor activities. This camp is for beginning and intermediate level players. No previous experience is needed. Children should bring their own lunch and a drink, but snacks will be provided. All campers will receive a chessboard, a Chess Wizards shirt, score book, trophy, work folder and certificate of achievement! Strider Push Bike Camp - Cottonwood Creek Park
This is where it all begins! Learning fun and balance as young as 2 years old, kids and families spend 45 minutes doing age appropriate games and skills in order to achieve proper balance and steering skills. Strider (push bike) camp is geared toward kids who are walking with their bikes, not fully sitting on the seat and not yet gliding or striding. But, it is also for those kids who are ready to learn how to turn, stop and maneuver obstacles. Parents will be hands on during this class. All curriculum will be aligned with Common Core Standards. Students will be given optional homework, needed literature and academic materials. Parents will be given an opportunity to share their childs needs prior to the camps introduction so curriculum can be individualized. Students will use the athletic activities and games to guide academic projects. Think calculating averages, graphing and sport related literature. Boot Campers will receive one-on-one and small group instruction!
