Teen Theatre Camp - Edinburg, VA
Campers will learn and explore the different aspects of theater including performance, production, stage managing, and directing. They will participate in theater exercises, games and perform on stage. Performance topics include auditions, monologues, improv and musical numbers. Teen Sewing Camp: Staple Dress - Lake Charles, LA
The summer is the perfect time for your teen to learn how to sew clothes! The Staple Dress is a fun, beginner first clothing project. In this workshop, we will teach your teen how to read and cut a pattern, and sew a dress of their very own! A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this class. July 21st-22nd: 1pm-5pm (8 hours total) $65 includes pattern and elastic thread. Campers should bring fabric (see chart) and coordinating thread. Campers can bring a snack if desired. Ages 13 and up

This 18 week class explores the elements of musical techniques within African drumming including understanding poly-rhythms, composition, melody, harmony, tones, pitches, bases, improvisations and arrangements. This class introduces the role of music in the African Culture. Coffee House Concert (19214F) - Cary Academy
Step into the shoes of a Coffee Shop performer! Explore how to perform through the eyes of a musician as you learn the fundamentals of guitar, singing, drums, keys, and other instruments. Campers will learn to sing, play common chord progressions and use their talents to perform in under a coffee shop setting.
