Are All Summer Camps Coed?
Not all camps are co-ed. There are some single-gender camps available in addition to traditional co-ed programs.
Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Many youth today are distracted by the other gender, and this is a chance to give kids a break so that they learn how to be friends with their peers. Many of these programs work with nearby groups so that the campers can get off camp and interact with a variety of people.

Local camps, daycares, & summer venues that offer programs for infant-18 years old will be in attendance at this showcase. Businesses and non-profits that offer summer camps & classes in sports, dance, art, cooking, fitness & academics will be present. ADMISSION IS FREE (Donations to Make-A-Wish are encouraged and accepted.) Bring the kids and go table to table to find the camps and daycares that best fit your family's needs and interests. All proceeds of event go to Make-A-Wish of Greater Virginia to sponsor a wish for a local child. For questions contact [email protected] or 804.399.0482. 40 Years of Camp Goddard - Reunion (SouthMac) - Sulphur, OK
This is a TENTATIVE event page to see who would be interested in heading to Goddard Youth Camp for a weekend in June 2016. Please invite everyone that you know who has attended "Camp Goddard" through South MacArthur Church of Christ to like this event and the Facebook page. This Reunion will be open to all ages and families are encouraged to come together! There is enough cabin space for 210 people. Cabin spaces will be available in groups of 10 on a first come, first served basis. Restrictions: Older couples or those with major medical issues will be given cabin preference if they would prefer not to sleep in tents/RV's. Camping with tents/RV's will be a slightly cheaper option than cabins because we may be expecting more than 210 people. Special guests will come in to teach us all about instruments too.
