Camp #1: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air (**Students encouraged to participate in Part I & II) "Examining our surroundings in detail, seeing beauty not only in the spectacular but also in the smallest growing things" (Lowenfeld) . In addition to work in our cozy studio, small Plein-Air outings will be held at 2 locations during this one week workshop. Students will learn how to connect with their surroundings. Students develop their observation skills and increase their knowledge about the world around them. Parents expected to drive students to the Plein-Air location specified prior to class. Camp #2: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air II: Art In Motion This is a stand alone class of can be the second step to week 1. This week will focus on gesture drawing, composition, and how to record what you see when it’s moving.
